I am looking for natural products that will help. Have seen 3 dermatologists and can not use the shampoos that they prescribe. Getting desparate because the condition is becoming obvious. A woman's hair is her glory and mine has always been healthy and thick...no longer.

Do NOT use shampoos with ammonia in them. Most do. I found a brand at Sam's Club called Member's Mark salon formula Shampoo, infused with wheat protein, minerals %26amp; sandalwood extract. It strengthens and nourishes hair add body and balances moisture. But what I like best is that, after reading the ingredients, I did not see AMMONIA at all, but stuff like oat amino acids and some very long chemical names. Not sure about that, but I do know it's been mild on my hair and I haven't lost any hair in the last 3 years I've been using it.
