How can I keep my hair looking professional and stylish while its growing out?

I have very wavy/curly hair that grows upward (rather than downward to my shoulders). My hair is pretty healthy although I've relaxed it before. Its about five inches long in the front and tapered in the back. I just want sleek, sexy, professional looks that can be worn to school and work.

How can I keep my hair looking professional and stylish while its growing out?

I am a licensed cosmetologist, so my advise is that you go to your hairdresser and let her know that you are growing out your hair but would like help on keeping it trim ed(makes it easier to manage) during the process, and she will recommend products to help you deal with the agony of growing it out.

How can I keep my hair looking professional and stylish while its growing out?

all u have to do is buy prodicts that can work with your hair!!!!!!!!

How can I keep my hair looking professional and stylish while its growing out?

If I'm picturing your hair correctly then maybe an angled, swingy bang (the kind that is swept to the side instead of on your forehead and grazes the cheekbones, like a lot of models have) would work for the front while you let the back grow. I know what you're thinking, really curly hair doesn't swing! But it can become much softer and more manageable (sleeker) with twice weekly deep conditioning. This totally transformed my once frizzy, still curly hair. It now blowdries smooth in only about 10 to 15 minutes instead of an hour, after a little air drying first. A little straightening balm helps too and will keep the back smooth as it grows out.

Wash your hair with milk?

i have been washing my hair with milk like one a month is this healthy..i out shampoo in rinse then conditioner rinse then milk and rinse is this unhealthy?

Wash your hair with milk?

no it will actually help you hair.

Wash your hair with milk?

umm i've only heard that if u take a bath with milk, then thats good for your skin..but i'm not really sure about doing it to your hair...

Wash your hair with milk?

hahahaa with milk? I never heard that before milk is for drinking duh!!! anyways whatever works for you....use it.

thx for da points tho.

Wash your hair with milk?

Not unhealthy, just a little costly. Also if you don't rinse all the milk out, it will SMELL....and not a good smell.

Wash your hair with milk?

I never try it , wat does ur hair look like after this mixture.?

Wash your hair with milk?

People bathe in milk, it can act as a moisteriser. If it is making your hair look better then it's fine!

Wash your hair with milk?

yeah supposedly washing your skin with milk was supposed to help your skin or "whiten" i mean by opposite of tanning. I don't think milk will help your hair that much compared to the cost. If i were you i'd go to a spa or something.

Wash your hair with milk?

no!!!!! gross!!!!

Wash your hair with milk?

DO not wash your hair with milk. It will curdle under the heat and ruin the ph balance your follicles require. Skim milk is particularly harmful as the protein is not bound by fat to promote smoothness. Drink your milk, its good for your health. But dont wash your hair with it....And chocolate milk will not replace a good henna rinse!

Wash your hair with milk?

I have heard of rinsing your hair with milk sometime back, but only you would know if it really is helping you or not! You say you have been doing it for a month, how does the texture feel? Is the hair healthy? Is the hair strong? Is there healthy new growth? Is it shiny? Good Luck!

Wash your hair with milk?

I have tried this but with honey added to the milk. Nuke the mixture for about 30 seconds until the honey is easily blended into the milk. The honey acts as a sealer, the milk a moisturizer. Pour the concoction on your hair, rinse completely, then shampoo as usual. This is a great way to deep condition your hair, so do it on a day that you're not going to work, school, a date, etc. Also, the best thing you can do for your hair is to only wash it every other day.

Wash your hair with milk?

Try the new brand Organix.

I have curly, dry and very hard hair. How can i get silky and soft hair and how can i get healthy lo

THE GROWTH OF MY HAIR IS NOT GOOD. I HAVE SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR.

I have curly, dry and very hard hair. How can i get silky and soft hair and how can i get healthy long hair?

honey conditioner is the best treatment. beat an egg and mix with one teaspoon honey and two teaspoons cocunut oil or olive oil. massage well into scalp. steam by using a towel wrung in hot water wrapped around the head like a turban. shampoo and rinse well.

I have curly, dry and very hard hair. How can i get silky and soft hair and how can i get healthy long hair?

ok for anyone with this probledm i recommend looking at ur shampoos, ocnditioners and hair cremes. for inexpensive but great try sunsilk. there are many diff types but get one with strong frizz control and extra moisture. use its hair creme, conditioner and shampoo. wash ur hair about 3 times a week but no more than 4 and no less than 2. also, when putting conditioner start from the ends and work ur way up but make sure conditioner doesnt touch scalp. bottoms need the most!(prevents split ends and locks moisture in). to supplement if needed, rub some biosilk (found in any european/int'l beauty supply) on ur towel dried hair. locks in mositure, gives irresistible shine, and prevents any frizz! good luck and i hope this helps!

Hair Help?

I have dry, curly, frizzy hair. How do I keep them moist and healthy looking? I really need help with this, so if any one can help me thank you so much.

Hair Help?

sheesh lady go to the salon!! and get some professional help, on serious note u can try to cut ur hair to chop of the split ends and use Garnier, that one is gud

Hair Help?

1. Chop off all the split ends in your hair.

2. Hot oil treatment.

3. Avoid using hair dryer and curling iron, straightener stuff.

4. Wash your hair every 2-3 days.

Hair Help?

You could get the proper advice from a beautician/ pharmacy very easily

Hair Help?

um go and get those things that say defined moist looking curls or something like that....or get those things tht make ur hair glossy, u hav to look around for it

Hair Help?

only use salon products on your hair. try using redken smooth down heat glide then a straightener. if you like a curly look, use moisurizing (salon!) shampoos and conditioners. i reccomend joico moisturizer. then, let it dry and define the curls with a curling iron. i works for me!! i have naturally curly hair and that works!!

Hair Help?

shampoo and condition it with TRESemme that works the best for me

Hair Help?

See if you can find "Frizz-ezz" (sorry about the spelling) laminate or serum for frizzy hair. It is a product that you apply to your hair when it is soaking wet, and then let it dry completely before combing/picking out. I used it when I had a new perm which was too frizzy. Any brand would probably work...it takes a little getting used to, but the results can be just what you're looking for.

Hair Help?

Use a really good leave-in conditioner. And buy a really good shampoo. I had the same problem, I have long, dry, curly, fizzy hair and used to use sun silk shampoo. I ended up changing to a little bit more expensive one that my hairdresser recommended and there is so much difference. It came with a thing called a 'silker' which you use when you are styling it and seriously I have more a problem with it being too greasy when I put too much in.

Hope that helps :-)

Hair Help?

I have dry, not curly, fizzy hair. My best friend is a cosmetologist. She told me about this line of hair products called Silk Elements(I buy my supplies from Sally Beauty Supply). Their shampoo and conditioner works wonders on my hair. Now there is this Olive Oil by Palmer's that I use on my hair. It gives it a real good shine and it's not heavy. Get your split ends cut and find a good leave-in conditioner that you like. Make sure that you get your split ends cut, that the start to healthier hair. If you do not want to permanently straighten you hair do not use any king of texturizers or products that say they will make your hair more manageable. they are all mild perms will eventually permanently straighten you hair. There are two more products by Silk Elements that I use on my daughters hair(who has hair like yours), they are Silken Child Leave-In Conditioner and Silk Moisturizing Creme.

Hair Help?

it is very very and very easy!!!

Ur all problems will be solved when u will try this!

Just get bald ....!!!

No hair No problems: )

Hair shedding?

Well like i said i have stopped using the flat iron everyday. I took a shower about an hr ago and am currently air drying. But when i tough it for maybe 3 seconds, hair comes to my fingertips. How can this possibly be healthy for me to loose this EVERYDAY. It cant be, which is why i think my hair is falling out. I am almost leaning toward the fact that my excessive hairspraying (to the point where ppl can smell it 2 hrs later) and moussing that it can cause my hair damage. Ceramic straightening after massive conditioning any better???? Is my hair falling out?

Hair shedding?

You hair is more likely to be breaking due to damage than actually falling out - though it is perfectly normal to lose up to 200 hairs a day.

Even though you've stopped using the flat iron everyday you're still going to have a lot of damaged hair which isn't going to go away until it's broken or cut off.

Heat damages your hair - so anything that applies dry heat - straighteners of any kind, hair driers etc are bad for your hair.

Hair shedding?

Your poor young lady

Hair shedding?

You should talk to your doctor about your diet and stop blow drying your hair as well as the iron. Each time you use either you are applying heat to your hair which damages it and weakens it.

Hair shedding?

It sounds like you do alot to your hair to damage it, and that will cause breakage. As for your hair actually falling out - healthy average humans lose anywhere from 50-100 hairs per day. It may seem like you're losing alot but you are really not. If you're that concerned it wouldn't hurt to visit a doctor. Good luck!

Do not put crease in your hair...I hate crease. Use hair lotion instead. I like the popular ponytail with the hump in the front (and it's easy). I also like the back and part of both sides down and it pulled back in the middle section only with some kind of pretty pin. I think that's cute for teens.

Does anybody know any easy do it yourself hair do's for african american teens to do?

i just got my hair relaxed and dyed a shade of red. i like to make about 11 braids all around my hair and then in the morning unbraid them and my hair is krimped nice. then i just put a pair of sunglasses on my hair like a headband. it's nice because you can't really go wrong esp if your in a rush. just unbraid, comb so you can't see the parts, fluff and go. PS. all hairstyles look better when you use sunglasses to hold your hair back. i never wear sunglasses on my eyes...just as a headband. lol

a simple wrap is always best, just accessorize it, and change the parting every once in awhile

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

Ive been using a flat iron almost every day for about three years. Its become sort of damaged. I just started taking vitamins for Hair,Skin, %26amp; Nails. I would LOVE to have longer hair, but it takes a very! long time to grow(My hair is down to my boobs) so it's already kind of long. I have to trim it a lot because while using a flat iron, I get a lot of split ends. I want to repair my hair and get long, healthy hair. I want to stop using a flat iron on my hair for awhile. If I stop using it, will I also stop getting split ends so I dont have to cut it as often? How often should you cut your hair if you don't damage it and don't have split ends? How much should you get cut off every trim?

If I stop damaging my hair %26amp; take vitamins %26amp; eat healthier, will my hair start to grow at a faster rate? thanks.

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

You should always get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks whether you flat iron it or not. But not flat ironing would definitely reduce your amount of split ends. Hair typically grows 1/2 inch per month but those vitamins may help it grow in healthier.

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

flt iron hair once a week after washing your hair cut your hair every 3 mths.

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

Well flat irons are very damaging. If you'd like to restore it i'd advise to STOP flat ironing it for a while. Maybe buy a shampoo that helps make straight hair (that-a-way you still get the straight look you want) After showering, only use a wide tooth (actually always just use a wide tooth comb because brushes pull on your hair and rip it out) Go to a sallys and get the ION repairing conditioner and leave it on for about 15 minutes every week. My hair was falling out and it helped a lot of the dead ends and not nearly as much of my hair was falling out afterwards. You should always get a trim every 1-3 months i'd say (atleast that's what i do and my hair seems to be healthy) If you find that you can't survive without your flat iron, buy a heat protector (i personally like Beyond The Zone Turn Up The Heat! because it smells fruity and leaves my hair feeling healthy after blow drying and straightening it) Heres a little tip to healthier hair as well- MILK! not only does it build strong bones, it as well helps nails and hair. All heat damages your hair, so just try to lay off the straightener for a few months. Your hair will be feeling healthier, and getting longer in no time! hope i helped =)

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

get it cut every 6 months... and trimmed twice a month.

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

ok, are you using a good ceramic straightener? This will prevent you from getting split ends or damaging your hair.

2nd- good on the vitamins- i take them as well. GNC has a great one.

you should have your hair trimmed every 2 months, that's the rule i go by, and i don't have a lot trimmed off because i am going for length. 1/2 inch top, NO MORE THEN THAT and you will be fine.

i don't think your flat iron is keeping your hair from growing... when your hair gets to a certain length, on many people, the growth process slows down significantly.

Just use a good shampoo/cond., trim frequently, and just dont be too rough on it, that causes breakage.

good luck!

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

If you stop flat ironing your hair or at least cut down on it you will have a lot less split ends. Instead try using a smoothing serum and comb your hair while it air dries. I'm also trying to grow my hair out and I used to flat iron my hair every day too. I don't get nearly as many split ends and it does seem like my hair is growing faster and there's a lot less breakage. Also to repair to damage try geting hot oil treatments and repair treatments from Sally's beauty supply. Everything their is the stuff professionals use and its really cheap, and the people working their are generally very nice and like to help. I hope this helps :)

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

cut off all your split ends even if that means cuttin off like 2 inches, as long as u get them all off. when u cut ur ends off it will make it alot healthier to grow, and make sure you grow out all your layers too or cut them down to even out all ya hair.

and yea stop flat ironing for a little while, i guess u can use it sometimes but not everyday. its really not good for your hair, and when u do flat iron it make sure u use a heat protector. i suggest motions heat protector it works really nice, any other questions just contact me! thanks

Stop flat ironing my hair? No split ends?

you cannot repair the damage that has been done. Split ends are from very dry brittle hair. I would suggest stop using the flat iron all together. Get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks and let the damage grow out.

You can use a moistuizing shampoo but it won't do much good, and might even make the problem worse.

You should only be shampooing your hair once or twice a week. Water alone is damaging to hair because it removes the natural oils, let alone all the products there are to use.

At least once a month allow your hair to get really oily by not washing it for at least a week and a half.

Unless you have curly hair there is no reason to use a flat iron. If your hair is super curly and the curls get wild and frizzy try using a bit of baby oil. When your hair is damp, pour a bit in your hands rub them together and run through your hair. It will help keep the curls smooth. I found this little trick because my daughter has super curly hair that likes to frizz.

Also NEVER NEVER NEVER brush your hair when it's wet. That goes for curly and straight. If you must brush use a wide tooth comb and go very gently.

What happens when you use a brush, even a vent brush, on wet hair is the hair strands get pulled and stretched causing them to become thin and brittle. This leads to hair breakage which in turn leads to split ends.

Heat in any form is super hard on your hair, as are dyes and even hair products like shampoo, conditioners, creams, hair sprays, gels, mouses and other products.

Really less IS more when it comes to your hair.

A little hint about hair product commercials that promise shiney hair, they spray a product on that makes the hair shine.

If you take care of your hair and don't abuse it, it will be healthy and shiney WITHOUT all the products that are so highly pushed in commercials.

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

I'm a 17 year old girl and my hair is falling out, no lie. Whether I'm washing it, brushing it, or if i even run my hands through it on occasion, hair will just fall out. I shed on everyone and everything and it's making me really nervous. So far it just looks like it's thinning but I'm scared to death that I will go bald! I also participate in a heavy-contact sport called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and sometimes my hair even gets pulled out in a match. Whether or not it gets pulled out, there are always stray hairs all over the mats whenever I train there. I don't know what to do. I eat well and I'm very healthy. I work out every day, and only a tough workout 3 times a week.

I was vacuuming the other day and I smelled a burning so I checked the spinny-things underneath, and it took me 20 minutes to untangle all of my hair from around them. When I got done, I condensed the wad and it was bigger than a soft ball. Help!

What's wrong with me?

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

If it is falling out that bad, get your thyroid check. ASAP.

A messed up thyroid can cause significant hair loss.

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

Take a vitamin from Walmart called Hair. It words very well, you'll see results in about 2 weeks. If that doesn't help, see your doctor.

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

i'm no doctor but if i was you i would definitely go see a doctor about it.

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

You will lose hair normally, try wearing it up in a braid during workouts and wear a net at night. You may be rougher on it than you realize. Hair can be fragile, stress can also contribute to hair loss so don't worry, your young and it grows back.

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

rogaine for women or a good wig or the bald thing is starting to make a come back.

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

Dont freak out the exact same thing happened to me im not even joking. I went to the doctor and had to get a bloodtest. They said that i wasnt getting enough protien and to start eating more chicken and beans and stuff that has protien in it. I also started using a new conditioner right before it started falling out so maybe try using a new shampoo or conditioner. hope it helps!

My hair is falling out! What do I do?

Alopecia is a clinical name for the loss of hair in 1 area. Bald spots appear. There is also a form of alopecia (universalis) that causes hair loss over the entire body. I have always lost a lot of hair, but it has never resulted in baldness. Alopecia affects both men and women. I would advise seeing a dermatologist to make sure that nothing untoward is taking place. If you are not seeing bald spots, it just may be that you lose a lot of hair. Try googling ;hair loss problems' and browsing through any relevant information that seems to fit your circumstances.

Which Carol's Daughter hair products are right for me? (Suggestions Please)?

My hair is short like above the shoulder and breaking. My hair is the longest in the middle which would explain why I have longer ponytails, but short bangs. I would like for all of my hair to be the same lenght and healthy. Are there any products that are cheaper than Carol's Daughter that will restore my hair? If not what should I use from Carol's Daughter? Open to all suggestions.

Which Carol's Daughter hair products are right for me? (Suggestions Please)?

I was told Carol's Daughter is the best my cousin in New York. However, I use Dr. Miracles. I purchased my own hair dryer and only use Dr. Miracles products. Weekly I wash with its stimulating shampoo/conditioner. I also use the damage treatment once a week. It takes a couple of weeks to see the results by my hair has completely turned around. Now that my hair is in better condition I am going to try Carol's Daughter. If it doesnt work I know Dr. Miracle will.

BTW, I only use the shampoo/conditioner and damage treatment. I purchased my own dryer so I wrap it and sit under it at home. I then press it and do a silk wrap myself. I honestly think its best to do your own hair. Beauticians do what they know and no body knows your hair as best as you do!

Good Luck!

I see your pain I had to start all over again when my beautician used a relaxer that was too strong for my hair. It all depends you have to find whats right for your hair because motions and some types of doo gro dont work on my hair and they're made especially for black ppl. I had to look around I use dr.miracles it works even though you have to get use to the smell, I use plenty of leave in conditioners and organic root stimulator products help in keeping it moisturized

My hair is falling out!?

So... I have been under alot of stress lately, and money is so tight, I go days without eating sufficient meals.

Lately my mother has been telling me that my hair is in the shower. and though I didn't believe it, when showering yesterday, I noticed it WAS in fact mine.

I have always had THICK hair, and... now it's very thin. There is still shine, and it feels healthy enough, but... it's really freaking me out now!

I'm not sure what to do. I asked my Aunt, and she told me that because I was a vegan, it could probably be because of iron or protein?

I don't think so... because the hair loss is just recent, and I've been a Vegan for awhile now without any problems!

PLEASE, any help, or suggestions!?

My hair is falling out!?

hahhaha sorry it will growPick me as Best Answer? Yes!

My hair is falling out!?

Well you are probably under a lot of stress. Even though your hair might seem healthy, maybe your body isn't getting healthy enough. Make sure to eat the right amount of meals, and drink a lot of water because that will make your hair thicker and or grow longer also. If in the shower your hair is left after showering, that's alright if there's a little. Usually people with thicker hair has more chances of more hair coming out in the shower because they have so much. But it shouldn't automatically become thin than. Maybe you should go see a doctor, because it could be a health issue, or go to a salon nearby and ask if there's any products that might help or reduce your hair falling out. And also, try to calm down and not be so stressed, that should help to. I hoped my advice helped!

My hair is falling out!?

Well that's what you get for being a vegan... the human body evolved on eating meat, so not eating any isn't natural...

My hair is falling out!?

First off you need to chill out. it could all just be stress. start trying to eat right and do something at least one thing every day that is relaxing like take a long walk, read a book, take a long bath... but don't think about the things that stress you out.

It might not be a big deal. I lose a lot of hair in the shower to but I've always had that problem it's normal the average human loses 50 to 100 strands of hair every day.

hope this helps you. but don't freak out because that will make it worse.

My hair is falling out!?

Is shampooing healthy everyday?..even i did bleeching for 1 week?

i just bleeched my hair one week ago..and i shampoo it everyday with conditioner since then..im just afraid it turn like too dry..but my hair is normally too oily.. is it healthy to continue it or better make it like every other day??

Is shampooing healthy everyday?..even i did bleeching for 1 week?

continue your routine until your hair feels dry, then you can start to cut back. the only thing that really keeps your hair in good shape is the natural oils in your scalp. keep washing them away and you will dry your hair out.

Is shampooing healthy everyday?..even i did bleeching for 1 week?

i bleached my hair a couple years ago and it was so dry and i had the same problem....if your hair is oily then you should wash it everyday but try giving it hair treatments so that it also stays moisturized. Try deep conditioning your hair once a week let it sit in your hair for about an hour and wash it out.

Hair problemos!?

okay so i dye my hair alot.

how can i make it look and feel healthy again?

and another thing, im trying to get my original hair color back. Does dawn soap really help was out hair color?

Hair problemos!?

http://web2.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/product...

This will repair your hair.

Hair problemos!?

I don't know if Dawn helps get the color out. But to may get look healthy again put mayo on it for like 15 mins, and then jump in the shower and wash your hair really good.

Hair problemos!?

Mix avacado, olive oil, and tea tree oil together.... put on a mask of it for 20 minutes... then shampoo. My hair is overprocessed by bleach.. and it really helps me!

Hair problemos!?

all i can say is, condition it alot. Deep condition it when you can, and when you have NO WHERE to go, use a deep conditioner and let it stay in you hair until it dries. Then dampen your hari, and add more deep condioner in, adn cover witha plastic bag. after that you'll wrap a towel around your head to keep it warm., thats what i do and it works.

ALso NO, dawn soap will hurt your hair even more. Once you have a decent amount of roots showing, go into a salon and tell then that you want to geyour hair dyed to the color od your (freshly clean) roots. They SHOULD, and BETTER be able to do it so it is pretty much an identical match. if not, go to another place.

If prefer fantastic sams. they are great and the hair dyes they use, do not damage the hair with harsh chemicals, they can help nourise the hair because of some of the natural ingrediants in it. Best of luck, and "baby" you hair back to health.

I use:

garnier frutise color sheald, along with aussie cleanse and mend shampoos' i use half of one and half of the other.

then i use the garnier, and the aussie conditoner (same line) and then i'll use hte garnier deep condioner. I think its actually called a mask or something, but it works great, promise.

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

well my hair is really damaged and is like 40% healthy...so lately i ahve been brushing my hair alot bcuz it seems to make it softer and spread around the oils. so i was just wondering if it is bad for me to brush my hair a lot? also what is the fastest way to grow it out?

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

No don't brush it too much, it will cause breakage. Brush it enough to distribute the essential oils...about 25-30 strokes, then BACK AWAY from the brush! lol

Look at it this way....if your hair is very damaged (as mine is, but im workin on it,so I know a lot about this!) you should try to treat it as you would a peice of fine silk. i.e: Don't overbrush, don't over style or over heat. Just treat it as if it's very delicate and you should be ok!

As for growing it, nothing will make it grow FASTER, but there are things you can do to maximize the hair growth potential.

Take vitamins. (vitamin b, also i have heard prenatal vitamins are very good for hair I havent tried this one myself yet though)

Give yourself scalp massages (stimulates blood flow to the scalp)

Don't brush hair when wet, try to blow dry only went absolutely nessecary.

Don't use straightening irons and curlers which will tend to pull and break your hair.

You should also buy a silk head wrap, like a silk neck scarf, and tie it around your head at night (covering all hair) OR get a silk pillow case (instead of a regular cotton or polyester one) Because when you toss and turn at night, it won't cause as much friction on your hair which causes breakage !

Good luck I hope this helps :)

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

no it's (brushes hair) very (brushes hair) normal for (brushes hair) people to (brushes hair) brush hair a lot and to be (brushes hair) rude and make bad jokes Report It

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

no, because when you brush your hair too much, your hair produces oils it does not need, therefore weighing your hair down, use a hot oil treatment once a week and your hair will eventually be normall again. make sure to wash it out well

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

i am not sure but i think it is good and bad....but for the damged part u asked about there is a product made by "pantene" that makes damaged hair stronger. and for growing it out i would say get it cut regularly , and keep away from damage .......

hope it helps

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

No you should brush your hair at least 100 times a day. Times as in (strokes)

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

I have not heard of someone brushing their hair too much. However, I wouldn't reccommend brushing my hair TOO much. You could pull out a lot of hair this way! It is good practice to brush your hair at least 2 times per day, but if you want to really take care of your hair you should wash your hair daily, using shampoo and conditioners that help your hair look great and healthy, too!

Is it bad if brush my hair a lot?

its good for your scalp but bad for your hair if you do it alot, cuase you may not know but with every stroke you take to your you are break at least 5 strands and think about if you do it alot thats alot of hair your breaking and thats how you end up with all those little hairs sticking out of your hair, but its good for your sclap becuase your massaging your your scalp and that makes your scalp produce oil to nurrish your roots.

Beautiful hair for miss india?

my friend is contesting in miss india competetion.what should she do to make her hair look viola!she wants to make it look gorgeous and healthy.what all would help to improve the health of her hair and appearance?help her gys ....

Beautiful hair for miss india?

Massage the Scalp with pure coconut oil. This will also help for growth of hair. Apply coconut oil, which has been boiled with small onions. Wash it off with a mixture of green gram powder and water drained from cooked (boiled) rice. Apply a mixture of almond oil and gooseberry juice with fingertips on the scalp. Apply the warm mixture of olive oil, lemon juice and coconut oil. Do a steam -towel- wrap for 15 minutes and wash the hair with a shampoo. Apply a paste of fenugreek and mustard to the scalp. Mix Shikakai powder with the water drained from the cooked rice and wash the hair with it. Crush the leaves of five petal hibiscus flowers and take the juice. Wash the hair with this juice. Heat the oil with a little camphor. Apply the oil in the scalp and massage for 10 minutes. After 30 minutes wash the hair with an herbal shampoo. Do the steam -towel- wrap for 15 minutes. For Healthy and Shiny hair it is better to apply castor oil for a healthy growth of hair. Wash hair with tea once in a week. Apply besan in the hair and wash it with water drained from the cooked rice. Soak a handful of gooseberry in a cup of milk for two hours. Make it as a paste and apply in the hair. Apply the mixture of an egg white, 2 spoon of castor oil, 1 spoon glycerin, in the scalp and hair. Wash it after some time. Mage hair with warm coconut oil an hour before washing. Let it soak. Cover your head with a hot towel and wash your hair after an hour or so. Boil a few hibiscus flowers in coconut oil. Filter and use this hair oil to control hair loss and thinning. Do a 'steam-towel-wrap' once in a while, if your cuticles are damaged, as this steaming opens out the pores and absorbs the oil. Deep condition with curd, beer and egg. Mix a little vinegar in warm water and rinse your hair with this solution. This will add bounce to dull and lifeless hair. Soak 1-teaspoon fenugreek in curd and keep it for a night. Have it in the next morning. Boil coconut oil with the juices of curry leaves, basil, hibiscus flower and gooseberry. Apply on hair, keep it for sometime and rinse. Egg white and curd is a good conditioner for hair. Take a cup of coconut and mustard oils. Soak half a cup of curry leaves in the oil mixture and keep it for a night. Next morning, heat on a slow fire till the curry leaves turn crisp. Remove from heat and add two to three camphor balls. Allow oil to cool and then strain. Apply oil to hair roots using cotton wool along the parting and massage in circular movements. Leave the oil overnight and shampoo the next morning. Repeat twice a week. Add a lemon peel to a 'shikakai' and 'amla' mixture while washing your hair. For Graying take a little Mehandi, an egg, juice of half a lemon, one tablespoon of instant coffee powder. Mix it together and apply on the hair. Wash it after 45 minutes. Boil one cup of dried gooseberry with 4 cups of water. Add a pinch of sugar in it. Keep boiling till the quantity of the liquid reduces to one cup. Mix 2 cups of Mehendi, an egg, juice of a lemon and the gooseberry solution and apply on hair. Wash the hair after two hours.

Curly hair?

I have naturaly curly hair but its dry, and dammaged and not looking to healthy at the min. big clumps are falling out in the plug hole and its just wrecked is there any tips on what to do? i try to straighten it but loads of hair just falls out i worried i may go bold.. my hair is very thin but lots of it i am to embarased to go to a hair dresser at the min i have been cutting the end off myself

Curly hair?

The first thing you can do is STOP trying to straighten your hair IMMEDIATELY! Straightening naturally curly hair (or any hair for that matter) is super unhealthy for it. It damages the hair, breaks it, dries it out, and a whole list of other nasty side effects.

I would strongly recommend going to the salon... better to be a little embarrassed than bald, right? I'm sure they have seen worse. Besides being able to give your hair a healthy and much-needed trim, they will have top of the line products for repairing damaged hair.

If you are really that embarrassed, some good steps to take in the direction of repairing your hair with store-bought supplies would be to completely stop using product (aka. Hairspray, mousse, gel, wax, etc.). Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (I like Infusium and John Frieda), maybe a 3-minute miracle lather (Aussie, John Frieda), and a moisturizing detangler (Infusium is my fave). If you can stand it only shampoo your hair every other day at the most! Shampooing dries hair, so instead just use the 3 minute miracle or just condition on the off days. Try to avoid products which are silicone based, Pantene Pro-V is a big NO... it might make your hair feel slick and moisturized but its really just coating or masking the damaged strand, not actually repairing it.

A final note, you might need to use an anti-residue shampoo such as Neutrogena if you start to feel any build-up. However, with naturally curly hair you shouldn't have too much of a problem. I hope all this helps and good luck!

Curly hair?

if its dry der r some special kinds of shampoos for da dry hair.. another gr8 way to improve ur hair is to use moisturizers nd creams.. this is all i could think of..anyways good luck! i hope i helped u in some way

Curly hair?

I rely on hair mousse to keep my curly hair under control. Make sure you use a really good conditioner but believe it or not a good shampoo will mousturise more than conditioner. Try mixing up a bit of conditioner with water in a spray bottle and spritz your hair all over. This will get it feeling really soft and freshens up a curly hair style. Lay off the straighteners for a bit because although my hair is really curly, my GHDs wrecked my hair after a year of using them and it went wavy and was burnt to a crisp! Avoid washing your hair every day, try every other day to keep some natural oils in. Feel free to email me if you want to know how I tame my hair and what products I recommend!! Good luck.

Just to add, ignore the people who tell you your hair falling out is a serious illness, people with curly hair will realise that you CANNOT brush curly hair, therefore, loose hairs stay tangled up until you wash it. When you wash it, all that loose hair that would otherwise be brushed out, comes out in the bath or shower.

Curly hair?

i heard that "horse and mane" shampoo works - no joke - i've never tried it though.

good luck!

Curly hair?

um i have very curly hair..i dont think it should be falling out....i use soo many prodects in my hair n its damaged too but it doesnt fall out as much as u say urs does so i really dont kno wut to tell you

Curly hair?

Ohmigod! you have exactly the same prob I did! dont worry, easily sorted! first of all throw your straighteners in the bin because they are frying your hair, secondly go to a good hair salon! get a good cut and make sure they do NOT razor cut your hair because this will tear your hair out more. Ask for a good trim, and hopefully it will start to look better! the best conditioner I have tried is kerastase oleo relax, it smooths your hair and regular treatments will start to put the moisture back in! gud luk

Curly hair?

The fact your hair is naturally curly, dry and damaged would not be the cause for it to fall out in clumps. What you are describing sounds more like a chemotherapy patient losing their hair. Are you taking any new medications or drugs??

You should definitely see a physician.

Curly hair?

I too have very curly short hair. it was extremely damaged and i lost alot of it from a chemical burn. A friend of mine told me to take a vitamin called Biotin. I take it and My hair started getting thicker and longer in just two weeks. You gotta take it everyday since its a daily vitamin, i have a 2500mcg bottle. Its not expensive and you could find it at any GNC or vitamin place. Try it what have you got to lose? Im telling you I thank my friend who referred it to me almost every day. Ciao!

Curly hair?

i Have Naturaly Curly Hair To and it is Really Herd to Take Care Of So i Started Using Mane 'n' Tail it Worked Great.. my Friend Use's it and it Works Great on Her Hair To..O and you Should Use Garnier Fructis because it worked Great on my Hair so it Should Work Great on your Hair too.

What products are good for relaxed hair???

what types of products could i use for my hair to maintain healthy??

What products are good for relaxed hair???

It's always best to go to a beautician to keep your hair in top notch shape, but when you can't and have to become a kitchentician (you know, having to do your hair at home instead of at the beauty salon :-), invest your money in products that will keep your hair MOISTURIZED. Clean your hair and scalp at least once a week with a good clarifying shampoo (Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Shampoo, DesignEssentials, KeraCare, Mizani). Then follow with a moisturizing shampoo like Creme of Nature, KeraCare, DesignEssentials (these are great products to use, there low priced and give great results). Also a good idea is to use pure Jojoba Oil Conditioner and Aloe Vera Shampoo from time to time. You can get these at any Vitamin Shoppe store or GNC store. Jojoba is great for keeping the hair healthy and moisturized and Aloe Vera is used to maintain the health of your scalp and keep hair strong. Use a shine serum like Fantasia IC Hair Polisher to give shine, keep down on frizz, and has a light weight feel. It's important to give yourself protein treatments at least once a month (Aphogee Keratin Reconstructor Treatment is great and smells nice) and Hot Oil Treatments at least twice a month. And try not to blow dry and use a lot of heat on your hair, instead, when you need to style try Wet-Setting it, doing Doobie Roller Wraps, and Twists. At night, always sleep with either a silk scarf, a satin bonnet, or a satin/silk pillowcase to keep your hair smooth, straight, and hold moisture. Nothings worse than to have your hair looking healthy and cute and then lay your head on a cotton pillowcase. You just asking for breakage when you do that. Hope this information helps and good luck.

What products are good for relaxed hair???

Four or five glasses of a GOOD beer help me get relaxed clear down to the hair....

What products are good for relaxed hair???

It's important to keep the hair moisturized. Not GREASY. Grease is too heavy for the hair. I suggest investing in hair cream. Hair cream is light weight and adds moisture to your hair rather than super oily products. Also be sure to deep condition your relaxed hair often.

1. Wash hair every week. Clean hair is healthy hair.

2. Deep condition often (sit under the hair dryer) every 2 weeks.

3. Keep hair moisturized with hair cream (see your local beauty store for brands).

4. Try to avoid using heated appliances (curling irons, flat irons, blow dryers) too much.

5. Also make sure to get your ends clipped after every touch up. It's important to get rid of any dead ends, split ends, or any frizz you may have.

I hope those tips helped! :)

What products are good for relaxed hair???

Keep your hair moisturized and when sleeping, make sure you tie a silk scarf around your hair to prevent damage.

What products are good for relaxed hair???

Henna-powder in all kinds of colour. Also a neutral one. It will make your hair really stronger! And it is not chemical. All chemical products will ruin your hair at the end, believe me!

What products are good for relaxed hair???

Your hair needs moisture. I use Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizing Lotion, Carrot Oil Cream, and Isoplus Oil Sheen (in a can). You need to wrap your hair up nightly, stay away from using rubber bands they tend to cause hair breakage. I message my scalp at least twice a week especially the hair line area and temples

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

I am 21 years old and on the top of my head You can tell my hair is thinning and I'm loosing hair. I am very stressed with college, work, g/f etc. I know that plays a significant role in hair loss. I am using Bioxin 2 times daily once in the morning and once before i go to bed. It works but It's really not showing to much of a difference. What would you recommend me doing? Is there something I can take to regrow the hair? On tv they have these commercials like Bosley hair grow and other companies that can regrow your hair. What would u recommend me doing? I'm only 21 and losing a lot. Is there something I can take? I know I'm perfectly healthy. I have gotten a physical just to be safe and everything came out great.

As for these programs like Bosley or other hair companies....are they safe? or risky? Is there a catch to it..cancerous?????? Would you you do? How much does it cost? any help would work. Thank you

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

Most external hair growth treatments are not very effective, which would explain your sub-par results. That's just the nature of the beast with external treatments, sadly.

However, hair transplantation, like the Bosley restoration you mentioned, are effective. They transplant hair follicles from the side/back of your head to where hair growth has stopped. You may not be a good candidate for this treatment though. Most transplants will only be done after hair loss is complete in one area. It seems like you are still in the process of loosing your hair and this would not make you eligible for the treatment.

Pricing varies, and is most often done through monthly financing (maybe 100 bucks +/- a month depending on the size of the procedure). Health consequences seem to be minimal. The worst case scenario is improper transplantation which results in the hair falling out, or infection from the procedure itself. No long term risks have been documented.

I recommend coming to terms with your hair loss as of now, and once it advances seek treatment if you wish. Your hair pattern will genetically follow the pattern of your mothers father. So ask your grandfather on your mom's side to see how your hair loss will progress.

CONSIDER: You don't want to pay for a procedure now only to find out you need another one in 5 years because more of your scalp has gone bald.

Best of luck!

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

it is in ur genes

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

brother bald is sexy too

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

Shaved heads are big these days and women seem to like them so do not worry.

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

You could go see a professional. Some guys look hot bald, though. You could just shave it for fun :)

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

just shave it off dude i been shaving mine for years people might say something at first but after a while they will like it. its just hair

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

The CATCH is that its surgery. They have to remove hair from the back of your head and implant it in the front. Its basically plugs. I know your young, but baldness is something you cant run from. Shave your head. :)

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

mayb eyour to stress out use an ointment to make it grow

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

go see a doc because you may have Appalachia

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

Well i don't know anything about the hair growth formulas but I will tell that my boyfriend is 24 and his hair line is receeding and he is getting grey. I wouldn't worry about it, it's what your genes are that your mom and dad gave you.

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

I have family members as young as 18 who are losing hair or greying. Ask your family or look at photos to see if it has happened to anyone else and if so its a strong possibility it could be genetics. If not you are stressing yourself way too much. You can attract anything you want though. I learned the secret. You should buy the book or dvd. I had my hairline appearing going back and just took my mind off it completely ignored it. I didnt mention it or give it any attention and it went away. I also had a mole on the back of my head and did the same thing and it just vanished. I swear to you

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

use the shampo called uooplhfind it in indian stores like "joiyl"in sacramento,California....!*

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

most baldness is inherited but yes, rogaine does work - my kid took a form of rogaine that helps control blood pressure, with amazing results growing hair!!

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

well if i was yuo i would go to a doctor and tell him/her that your lossing your hair and that you shower ----- a day or a week and he might tell you what your problem

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

I spent $8000 on a full transplant and it was worth every penny! The best money I ever spent.....wow....to have a full head of hair again is heaven on earth! Trust me the transplant is the only way to go! (research your doctor) You will love it!

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

I am the oldest of my 4 brothers. 2 are totally bald, one is almost there and I still have hair and I am 55. My Dad, Grandfather were also bald at an early age. Nothing has worked for my brothers and they have tired remedies from other cultures and countries.

I say, go Bosley but first get 3 jobs.

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

You may want to try rogaine and/or propecia. Usually, these work better when you have just started losing your hair.

Losing hair at age 21 "Male"?

First of all you need to stop all the stressing...do some relaxation for yourself....if you can't find any product that works for you, then just work out a new look. What kind of hair product do you use? It's best , for now to stop using all the gel, hairspray, etc. Buy professional hair care products if you can, it's a little more expensive but worth it. Hair is Hair.....hopefully you can find something that work for you, other than that i don't know what to recommend because I have a head full of hair...lol...(STOP STRESSING,like seriously..i mean if you can..).)

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

I recently got a haircut that's very layered, shorter and flipped out in the back, and with sidebangs. The stylist even ran some spiking glue/wax through it to make it look really cool and spiky. I loved it to death.

...That is, until I tried to style it that way after I took a shower.

The problem is my natural hair is extremely thick %26amp; wavy, and my straightener is crap. It doesn't have side protector plates so I can't get close to my scalp and it leaves my hair looking fried, dull and gross. What brand of straightener (under $100) would work best to style my kind of hair and leave it looking sleek and healthy?

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

For short hair you probably wouldn't want a 2" straightener. So try to go for a 1" any professional straightener goes for $100 or more. I have a remington Wet 2 Straight and I LOve it. Another brand i like is Revlon and Bed Head just started making straighteners they come in fun colors. Experiment until you find something you like

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

maxiglide will answer all your questions!!!!!! i watched a comcercial and i heard its amazing and its only 99.95 so its close to your buget its expensive but look how much stuff it has in ithttp://www.maxiusbeauty.com/category.php...

hope i helped im saving up for one as we speak i cant wait to get it!!

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

I got the chi and it works really good , it doesn't fry your hair when u use it and i use a Paul Mitchell balm to apply before i use the flat iron, you can find flat iron and any beauty brads ,

and the Paul Mitchell as well.. the flat iron is like 150.00 and the Paul Mitchell is about 15.00, if the Money is kinda high, take a round brush and a blow dryer and get some kind of straightening balm, and apply it then blow dry.. it doesn't work as good as the chi , but it comes out pretty good ..

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

i have the thickest and waviest and curlist hair and i use bored straight,it is made by beyond zone a little pricey but worth the 16 dollars a bottle, you won't ever need a srtaightner iron again, all you do wash your hair put the bored srtaight in you hair blow dry your hair using a round brush and your hair will be srtaight and it feels so soft and shiny in your hair not like gel that weighs your hair down and it last all day ,good luck

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

What is good to help black women help grow out their hair?

my friend told me that there is this pill called Biotine, that you can buy over the counter and take and it helps hair grow. I am trying to get it back healthy and long. I once had it that way. I have a good grade of hair, I useto go get it done like every 2 weeks. Some say stay away from heat, some swear by getting it wrapped, washed and ends cut every 2 weeks also. I have heard of every 6 weeks getting my ends cut, wrapping it up before I got to be and using a silk scarf. Like I said before I have a good grade of hair, I useto take good care of my hair and useto drink water all the time that is why I think it grew long. Any advice as ro what to do for my hair to grow out?

What is good to help black women help grow out their hair?

You don't need to take any special pills to make your hair grow. If you're taking a multivitamin for general health then, that's okay but it probably won't make much of a difference. Unless you're malnourished or something, a healthy head of hair will grow about half an inch a month or more. You can use Biotin shampoo if you want. I did when I first cut my hair and found that it was good for getting all the residue out of my head from the heavy product that I was using. I no longer use that product or shampoo. Right now I'm using Motions shampoo. Just make sure that you get a moisturing shampoo and a clarifying one to use once a month for the residue. I use suave conditioner because it's cheap and I use so much of it. I usually try to condition wash my hair twice a week or every 3-4 days. I use shampoo about every 2 weeks. Alternate between the moisturizing shampoo and the clarifying one. The key to growing your hair is making sure that your scalp is healthly. Never scratch your scalp with your nails. Make sure that it's always clean, but don't overdry it. Just do what I said about the washing and you should be okay. Try out different methods and find what works for you. If you work out, you sweat more and will need to wash more often.

Good scalp care is just the beginning. A lot of black people don't realize how much their hair is growing or has grown because of breakage. A lot of breakage can be eliminated with proper handling of your hair. Don't be rough. I'd don't know if you're relaxed or natural, but healthy hair can be achieved either way. Whether you're relaxed or natural, you must have a big toothed comb and some detangler. (especially if you're natural) If your hair is natural, never comb it dry without detangler with a small toothed comb. You would just be pulling your hair out. If you're relaxed, wrapping your hair is a good low maintenance style that will help if grow and will call for you using less heat on your hair. Heat does damage your hair, so stay away from it as much as possible. Ponytail holder and rubber bands break hair too, so be careful how you use those. I actually never use rubberbands. Try to us scrunchies and make sure your hair is moisturized (not wet) if you must put it in a ponytail. There's a lot of other things I could tell you, but I've written a book already so I'll stop now. Good Luck :)

What is good to help black women help grow out their hair?

stop straightening your hair, and go natural for awhile. THen when it is long enough press it straight instead of creaming it straight. It will look better feel better, move in the wind, and wont be all greasy and grows.

This is coming from a black guy that hates black chicks ugly straight hair.

What is good to help black women help grow out their hair?

well dont straighten ur hair as often and make sure to keep ur scale from getting dry because it can cause breakage and get it trimmed every 4-6 wks and u should be good

What is good to help black women help grow out their hair?

Try using Infusion brand leave-in conditioner. That is what I use.

What is good to help black women help grow out their hair?

Go here. They have a ton of info http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/

Do you moisturize the hair? That's a big thing when it comes to having a hair growth. If I would have known that oils by themselves don't moisturize I would have long hair.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

My daughter is three and we go swimming at the public pool every day. I usually use a no-tear baby shampoo when I wash her hair, but lately her hair has been looking a little dried out, I assume from the chlorine. What can I use on her hair that is really effective to help keep it healthy?

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

If you wet her hair down before she goes in the pool, it will keep if from absorbing so much chlorine. You might also use a leave in conditioner when you wet it to help close the cuticle.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

My daughter is on a swim team and we had to buy her a special shampoo from a local salon. You should do the same. She probably doesn't have that much hair so a bottle would last you a long time even though the initial price is high.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

I spray a leave-in conditioner in my daughter's hair before going swimming.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

If you shower before you get into the pool, I would try putting some conditioner in her hair. Bad thing is that you have to bathe her afterwards to get the conditioner out.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

Hmmm... Maybe you can try finding moisturising shampoo for toddlers?? I use Pantene which had this moisturising substance in it and makes my hair feel really nice and hydrated. Hope that helps!!

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

wear a bath cap , there some lovely one around now with flower on

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

I have recently read in cosmo that rinsing with club soda helps. I used a special swimmers shampoo when I was younger in a similar situation. Most drugstores should carry the shampoo, I'm sorry I don't remember the brand name...

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

Why not try a tiny bit of olive oil...just put a drop on your hand %26amp; rub through her hair, it can get greasy so just use a tiny amount about once a week.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

She needs a good moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner.

I do not know if they make that for toddlers.

Check you pharmacy, read all lables. If you have a good hair

stylist, she could help if you call her. They llike to keep their clients happy. If you are a regular, she'll be glad to help.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

You can start by using a moisturizing shampoo followed by a deep conditioner it helped my grand daughter...you can also put a product called silk drops in her hair after towel drying it.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

I think there is a special shampoo for after the pool, or maybe is that for your bathing suit??

Anyways, my daughter had dry hair at one time and I just used a spray in conditioner. Something you spray on and leave on.

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

coco butter w/ leave in cream

What can I do to help my daughter's hair from drying out from swimming?

Before going swimming, wet her hair down and put a moisturizing conditioner in it (a kids' brand that won't hurt if it gets in the eyes would be best, just in case...), brush it through, put her hair in a pony tail, if it's long enough, and let her swim.

When you get home, rinse her hair, put shampoo in, let it lather up good, brush it through (it feels good, and helps get the shampoo to the scalp, and clean the hair), rinse it out. Then put a TINY bit of conditioner in... start at the tips, then brush it through. If the top of her head feels dry, add a little more, and brush again. Let it sit while you finish bathing her. (I put a shower cap on my three year old when I use conditioner on him-poor guy ;o] ) after 2-5 minutes, rinse it out (or when she's done playing in the bathtub, and it's time to get out...) The longer it stays in, the more it's absorbed by the hair, and I think it's easier to get out.

I hope that helped, even though, in type it's kinda long!

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any

He has a brother who also lives in our house. We are getting him checked out by the vet on Tues. He was a long-hair Siamese, 1 1/2 years old, seemingly healthy and very active.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

you can request your vet do a necropsy on the kitten so you can find out what the cause of death was.

I'm sorry for your loss, that has to be hard.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

sorry poisin perhaps a vet can do autopsy

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

Sorry about your loss. It's not worth the money to have an autopsy.........bury the little guy and enjoy the one you still have.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

does your cats go outside ? and how was she acting ? cause she could of been posioned by some one i dont know

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

Have you vet perform an autopsy to know for sure. I am so sorry for your loss. I regard my cat as a member of the family. Take care.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

I would examine the body for Any injuries. Look in the mouth also, animals chew on cords, and he could have been electrocuted. May have burns or lesions,(sores) on mouth or tongue. A vet check up would be the next thing for the live kitty. The deceased may have ingested chemicals and many house plants are very toxic to animals, like certain types of ivy's. If the cat goes outside, it could have been any number of things, sorry 4 your loss.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

If you let it outside much, one of your evil neighbors poisoned him.

If he's always indoors, maybe he ingested something toxic by accident.

My guess is that it was poisoned one way or another. Could have been antifreeze, rat poison, bleach, anything...

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to here that, mabey he did eat poisen,or had an infection, god bless.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

maybe your cat ate something. one of my friends had a dog that died from accidentally eating rat poison.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

It is odd for a cat to die suddenly at that age..is it possible that your cat might have gotten into some sort of poison? Rat poison or maybe drank some antifreeze.? Im sorry for your loss..my brother actually poisoned my cat with rat poison ..it was awful.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

COULD YOUR CAT HAVE EATEN A POISONED MOUSE? THAT HAPPENED TO MY CAT...SORRY ABOUT YOUR KITTY : (

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

most vets offer necropsys for no charge, I would seriously consider this since you have his brother. I am so sorry that you have lost such a young pet...

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

My boyfriend left for school about two weeks ago and his cat was jumping around playing great but when he got home his cat was dead, turns out he choked on his hairball and since you had a long haired cat that can be the reason.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't have a cat but i know lots about them. He/She may have died from:

Poison

Wires

Purpose (by neigbours maybe)

Killed (by dogs, raccons, owls ect)

Once again i am sorry for your loss.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

So very sorry to hear about this. A real shock!

Perhaps he had a weak heart and it just gave out ... perhaps a hear murmur.

If he coughed and panted while playing (running around) it could have been Asama, but I'm sure you would have noticed that.

Since you're taking in his brother in for a check up, you may get an answer. That's not to say anything negative will come out from the vets report from the brother.

Hope it's nothing but good , good report.

My heart goes out to you .... talke care.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

Possibly got into poison...did he act funny at all (ie acting off balance, or drunk, not eating or drinking?)

I would keep an eye on the brother for any weird changes in his behavior....if you notice anything it could be poison and waiting until Tuesday may be too late.

He could have had a defect in the heart, hard to say unless your vet does a necropsy.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

if there were absolutely no signs of sickness i would say it was his heart.

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

im really so sorry about that but mayby it died from poisinous food or water

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

has he eat something poisen laying around,or might have had bad heart born with

My cat died suddenly this morning. He was 1 1/2 years old. He was very healthy and very active. Any ideas?

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

how do you get ur hair like SUPER SHINY! and it looks really niceee and healthy how do they do that? lol and wat products do you use?

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

I know the feeling- but I think I've figured it out!! :)

First, use a hi-shine shampoo %26amp; conditioner- I'd reccommend Herbal Essences's Hello Hydration set. (other good ones are Long-Term Relationship and Break's Over). Use this every shower, and (what I do), is first shampoo my hair, then apply conditioner, and leave it on for the whole shower (I rinse it out last thing).

Then try a Shiny Hair Serum- I use John Freida's Frizz-Ease Hair Serum- but there's lots of other options. ((Anything that says Leave-In Conditioner is like a Hair Serum)). Apply this after you shower.

To straighten your hair- ALWAYS use protectant with built-in shine beforehand. This makes a big difference on the shine quality of your hair- and keeps it healthy and frizz-free.

There's also products you can buy, like glazes, that "Shine" your hair instead of dyeing it. (Like Clairol's Shine Happy glaze- it lasts you about six weeks of super-shine).

Shine on!!

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

Use shampoo that is desgined to make hair smooth and shiny.

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

i use deep conditioner and enjoy super shine

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

pual mitchell shine serum works wonders its amazing!!!

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

biosilk products, work amazingly hun!

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

just use shampoo that are good brands like pantene..herbal esenses

like smooth and sleek, hello hydration

smooth and sleek makes it shiny

hello hydration makes it full of moitsure so it makes it shinier and not dry looking

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

To keep my hair healthy and shiny I take a daily multivitamin.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

...I use this weekly.

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh...

Use a good quality shampoo/conditioner, too.

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

Use Paul Mitchell Quick Slip. Also never use Bio-silk products they are alcohol based and Can damage you hair making it look dull and frizzy.

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

(i tryed this once, before my uncles wedding,) after you wash your hair, crack a egg into your hair and like massage into you hair, like you would with shampoo, then rinse out, and it actually does leave your hair looking very shiny!

Hair helpppp plzzzzzzzzz(:?

I used this once a week, and people said my hair looked and felt a lot shinier!

You need an egg yolk and almond or olive oil (either is fine, but I use it sweetened with almond). mix it together and scrub on your hair. You can then tie it and but a plstic bag over it, and leave it on for like 10 min. Take a shower after and use shampoo (I use head and shoulders). You don't have 2 use conditioner that day. Hope it helps!

Jewish Girls - Gorgeous Hair?

I go to school with a lot of Jewish girls and the one thing I always notice is how beautiful their hair is. It looks so shiny and healthy...do they do anything to it from when they are little? or is it just genetics?

Jewish Girls - Gorgeous Hair?

anyone can have gorgeous hair. i think that yahoo posted a news or something about this. it depends on diet (:

Jewish Girls - Gorgeous Hair?

I dont think so? Maybe its just my school, but they dont have very shiny healthy school. As one of the posts, andyone can have bwautiful hair you just have to work at it.

Jewish Girls - Gorgeous Hair?

genitics trust mi

Jewish Girls - Gorgeous Hair?

It's definitely not genetics because there are plenty of Jews with pretty messy hair. If it's genetic, I'd say East Indians have the most glorious hair of all.

USE A GOOD CONDITIONER EVEN THE ONE YOU USE MOST WASH HAIR TOWEL DRY COMB THROUGH APPLY CONDITIONER PUT ON PLASTIC CAP HEAT WITH HAIR DRYER LEAVE FOR 20 MINS TO HALF AN HOUR AND RINSE DO THIS TWICE A WEEK FOR ONE MONTH HOPE IT HELPS FEEL THE DIFFERENCE APPLY SERUM AND WAXES TO MASK IF HAIR LOOKS DRY SHOULD SMOOTH THE CUTICLE

HAIR HELP! IM WATING MY HAiR STREAKED WITH BLEACH???????

it is no good trying to use any type of treatment/conditioner on your hair before bleaching as bleach eats through all things (even other chemicals) so it will be a waste of time. besides bleach only damages hair if it is mis-used (i.e. the people who bleach to white) just make sure that pale yellow is the furthest you bleach to and you should be fine. oh and also hair is dead so once damage is done then it is done and CANNOT be repaired despite what people like to believe, these so-called treatments can only MASK damage but it is still there.

HAIR HELP! IM WATING MY HAiR STREAKED WITH BLEACH???????

You can find your exact answer at below link. It will definitely help you.

Is male pattern hair loss a big deal as far as dating goes?

I've had very noticeable hair loss (male pattern baldness) since my early twenties. To women in the U.S. that seems like the plague but I am not about to spend $2000-5000 for a temporary "fix" like hair replacement for a cosmetic problem. It's not that I could not afford it ... it is a matter of principle.

I keep my hair quite short because otherwise it looks messy. Is there a lot of stigma attached with losing hair in terms of dating in the Philippines? Or is this mainly a U.S. attitude?

just for the record, all my male relatives are either very much alive and well or have lived very active and healthy, active lives well into their lates 90s ... although with a lot less hair .... so this is obviously not a "health" issue.

Is male pattern hair loss a big deal as far as dating goes?

It's only a big deal if you make it into one. Looks are much more important to men than they are to women.

Of course, you can always shave all your hair off. Being totally bald can be a hairstyle choice by itself, and then any hair loss is less noticeable.

Ultimately, you should make a decision that *you* feel the most comfortable with, and which leaves you feeling confident about yourself. If you have to change your hair to accomplish this, so be it. Let the results serve as your guide, rather than any notions of what you "should" be doing.

Is male pattern hair loss a big deal as far as dating goes?

Yes your the plague of society in america. It's considered a disease. If you had herpies on your lips you would still be better off than going bald. If you had a bag to crap in attached to your rectum and it was out in the open you would still get more play than a balding guy. If your forehead was 4 feet tall, and wore glasses the size of bowling balls you would still get more play. LOL, you get the point. Even big girls pick on balding guys. Pay for the surgery and save yourself a lot of grief.

Is male pattern hair loss a big deal as far as dating goes?

dood i have the perfect solution.. grow ur hair long and put it in a ponytail. then grow a goatee and moustache. chicks dig it.

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

I just got my hair colored and I want it to look healthy, what steps do I need to take, other than don't color your hair, to ensure that it looks very healthy?

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

truly, soap

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

hot oil treatments , esp coconut oil;

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

CremeSilk is the best conditioner, i used this when i got my hair straightened and i got a nice result after a couple of days

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

what i do is make sure i dont wash it for 2 days and continue to condition it during this time. i use pantene pro V which works really well. other brands i like are herbal essences and aussie. anyways, try to stay away from chlorine and other chemicals, and try not to straighten, curl, or blow dry your hair for a few days. after that, every time you get out of the shower use a leave in conditioner. its not as heavy as a regular conditioner and it doesnt make it greasy. well good luck!

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

after coloring my hair i used LOREAL color treated hair conditioner, it makes your hair stay that color and keep it healthy and really strong, if that doesn't work try john frida's color defying shampoo and conditioner. hope i helped-alex

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

V05 hot oil treatments and Aussie 3 minute miracles do the trick for me.

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

try to use bonacure repair treatment and shampoo, if possible you could also can try thr redken extreme deep fuel which would instantly give you good condition effect for your hair, smooth ans silky, really trust me....!!!

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

Here are some tips I got from my stylist after bleaching my hair:

1. Try to decrease the number of times you shampoo. I switched from shampooing daily to shampooing once every couple of days. Rinsing alone can cleanse hair of smoke smells, etc.

2. When shampooing, reduce drying effects by applying shampoo to the root area only. If you have long hair, avoid lathering all the way down the strand. Shampoo cleanses scalp oils, so you don't need to apply it to the whole strand, unless you've got some gunk in there.

3. Use a rich conditioner, or masque. (I use one daily.) I swear by L'Oreal's Vitamino Color Express Care System.

4. After blow-drying/styling, apply a little extra conditioner or liquid silk to the tips of your hair, and leave in.

Enjoy your new color!

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

I have 2 answers I think you should probally go to a store and then get the color treatment thing i think its the loreal brand. Or you go to the place wear you get your hair done and ask them which kind would proablly be the best. Hope I helped!

What is the best conditioner for your hair after being chemically treated?

Th new brand jus coming out called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair...plus it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types and different fragrances. From what I read, it seems to be the hot new brand. You'll be able to get Organix in the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Safeway, Albertsons, Duane Reade, etc.

Hair Loss in women?

Does anyone know what causes hair loss in a woman who medical tests are all healthy.

Hair Loss in women?

genetics

Hair Loss in women?

Stress can cause hair loss--and if you fast for long periods of time that can too.

Hair Loss in women?

Genetics, diet (lack of certain vitamins and minerals), environmental factors and in some sources it's even gone so far as to say smoking and caffeine can effect it.

Hair Loss in women?

genetics, stress , poor diet it could be a number of things. do you colour your hair? if so try not to colour it for as long as you can (i no its hard but worth it) have trim every 6weeks and buy a good thicking shampoo. by the way hair is made of protein so its a good idear to get more high protein foods in your diet like eggs, meat, beans, nuts give it a try :)

Hair Loss in women?

well it could be genetics but it could also be over alot of different things like stress

Hair Loss in women?

well, I think it is because of your diet. Do not eat salty food or instant noodles. stress or did not sleep well will also cause your hair to drop. or even if you having scalp problem or oily scrap like dranduff. Try to use less oily shampoo. and only appy hair conditioner on the tips of the hair and not to the hair scalp since you should be having oily scalp. Try washing your hair everyday or alternate day. Do not leave it for more than 2 days and once the scalp oily, hair will drop easily. Do not use too hot water to wash your hair. The pore will open and more hair will drop. use warm water first and after shampoo use cold water to rinse to close the pores. Wish you good luck!

Hair Loss in women?

stress, no a proper diet. I have chemo pateints on this: it helps theri hair to stop breaking. watch the video

I think you should check out www.biolustreflorida.com

I just went to their launch party and had my hair done, free as a demo. Its amazing, my hair was breaking off and flying away. I will always always buy this stuff. Its awesome, I saw a difference as soon as she rinsed my hair. I have no damage anymore, its unbelievable! No more split-ends, its like my hair is NEW! I love it!

www.biolustreflorida.com

and they have a myspace. I just asked to be on their friends list

http://www.myspace.com/biolustrefloridad...

Make sure you watch their video on the site, its amazing. Lady changes her hair color 3 itmes in 30 minutes with NO DAMAGE

Hair Loss in women?

For women main reason should be iron deficiency. Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out

OMG WTF My Hair Wont Grow!!?

prenatal vitamins

OMG WTF My Hair Wont Grow!!?

Hair length is actually a gene. Meaning its hereditary. Not everyone can grow their hair to the waist and very few can grow their hair to their knees.

OMG WTF My Hair Wont Grow!!?

Do you comb or brush it a lot? If so, that might be causing some breakage. Hair grows, but if there's a lot of overstyling, the breakage might make it seem as if it's not growing.

I also have very curly hair and don't comb it a lot and never brush it. Brushing it causes frizz.

I used to relax it, but it became damaged and would break from the chemicals and overstyling. Ever since I went natural, it grows like crazy.

OMG WTF My Hair Wont Grow!!?

take prenatals that definately should work.

OMG WTF My Hair Wont Grow!!?

i have the same problem, my birthday's in November and i would really like my hair to be past my shoulder's too. i heard that getting the right vitamins can help grow your hair. They say that getting enough sleep and trimming your hair regularly can also grow it.

I have a question about proper care for the scalp and hair.?

I'm now living a healthier life. In other words, I'm trying to keep my body as healthy as it can be. Does anyone one have any tips on keeping my scalp and hair healthy? All tips, opinions, and ideas are welcome!

thanks a thousand and god bless!

love,

me!

*Huggles and kisses!*

I have a question about proper care for the scalp and hair.?

shampoo is great for getting rid of the waxy, oily look of hair... but it is also very healthy for your hair (the oil that is realised from the hair glands), and i would recomend anyone to only shampoo once every two days. You can wash your hair with water, but shampoo is actualy doing more damage than good. Now if you wana look your greatest, dont follow this, because some people like the look of right after using shampoo, but its not as healthy.

I have a question about proper care for the scalp and hair.?

Use a great shampoo!! I use Fekkai and try hot oil treatments!! Congrats on your healthy life

I have a question about proper care for the scalp and hair.?

if you have dandruff, apply vinegar on the scalp, let it dry and then shampoo your hair as normal. your dandruff should go after a couple of days later.
