Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

I have really fine hair and I want to leave it long. The way it is now It will not hold a style at all. It is straight and flat. I have researched Nioxin and it is supposed remove residue and DHT buildup on the hair making it thicker, fuller and healthier. Please let me know if anyone has used this product.

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

no, have you ??

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

No

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

no... but i heard they work really well.

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

It doesn't help that much.

BUT there are a lot of thickening products out there that REALLY help and right away.

I assume you want your hair to look thicker right away. So go out to Walmart and check out what they have. Oddly enough, walmart seems to have the most to offer.

Try out two or three different things.

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

yes i believe it is good you can also use biotin vitamin from walmart it is only $2.00

it helps the hair grow

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

Yes, I have had several clients that use it and swear by it. It can be a bit expensive, but I've never heard of anyone claiming that they didn't like it or that it didn't do its job. Most likely, the results are subtle, but it seems to be enough for most people.

Has anybody tried Nioxin products for fine hair?

no, i don't need it, but it shows very good at tv ad

Long hair?????

I know theres no way to make hair grow faster, but what are some tips to keeping it healthy? like shampoos/conditioner........

Long hair?????

mane and tail shampoo. It's made for horses, but people use it to make their hair longer and thicker. But don't use it all the time because your hair will get gross. Just after a couple of washes with it, use regular shampoo and conditioner. Also, prenatal vitamins increase hair growth too.

Which option would cause less damage to my hair?

I recently had to cut my long hair because the ends were too damaged. I have curly hair and I straighten it quite often. It is now shoulder-length and I would like it to stay healthy-looking. If I really want to straighten my hair, without causing too much damage should I...

a) blow dry it, trying to straighten it as much as I can and then use my straightening iron to finish [that option takes a lot of time and I'm afraid it's too much heat at once]

b) let it air dry and straighten it afterwards [shorter, but harder to untangle]

c) any other idea you might have!

I have a CHI iron, which works really well. Thanks a lot!

Which option would cause less damage to my hair?

Let it dry naturally, then straighten it. Or try one of those new hairdryers that have a straightening attachment, so you can straighten as you dry.

Be sure to use good salon shampoos and conditioners too; they really improve the health of your hair. If it's already damaged, I'd recommend Joico K-Pak or Brocato Cloud 9 products. Both of those will help repair damage, and get your hair back to being healthy again.

Which option would cause less damage to my hair?

Let it dry naturally then straighten it with a flat iron. Also use one of those circle brushes (dont know what they are called) but they make it easy to get the tangles out,, and make the hair more straight, as opposed to just using the flat iron alone.

Blow drying your hair is just asking for it to get destroyed.

Which option would cause less damage to my hair?

Number one your best bet might be to NOT use a flat iron. My daughter has Rearend length culry hair (she is 9) and likes it straightened sometimes. I use a Conair round hairdryer. It creates sort of a slight undercurl on the bottom of her hair, but it doesn't do the damage that flat ironing it does. ESPECIALLY when the hair is wet. If it is REALLY important to you that your hair is STICK straight then you can always flit iron on a Low to Medium setting just the ends that are slightly curled under.

It is best for your hair to not HEAT style it as much as possible..so maybe wear it curly or up every other day.

Another way to minimize the damage to your hair is to not wash it EVERY day. Curly hair behaves differently and tends to need special care. My daughter's hair is wet down every day, conditioned every day but washed every two. If that makes sense to you. (Sunday Wash, Monday wet and condition JUST the ends, Tuesday Wash...etc) We do sometimes wash it more than that, it just depends on what she's been doing and how her hair is behaving.

How to get my hair to stop breaking?

I got my hair trimmed in December and got rid of all my split ends and I've been so happy in the begining b/c it was soo healthy. All I wanted to do is continue keeping it this way.

It's been recently that my hair is starting to get more split ends.

I've been doing everything right (so I thought).

I don't use the blow dryer often. I do not use a hair straightner.

I try to shampoo my roots so it doesn't affect my ends and condition my ends as well as deep condition once a week or so. I eat healthy and drink water all the time.

I don't understand why this is happening. I just wanted it to grow healthy %26amp; longer. Can someone help me?!?

How to get my hair to stop breaking?

no, no, no, no! DO NOT use Pantene, or Tresemme! These are LOADED with alcohol, and any other cheap brands of hair care products can be contributing to the breakage. Throw away all products from a retail store or drugstore. Only get quality products from a salon, they cost a few dollars more, but then you won't have to get haircuts every 2 weeks. Try the K-Pak line from Joico, these are great products for preventing and repairing damage, and not to mention low on alcohol.

How to get my hair to stop breaking?

if you dye ur hair it will do this try waiting intill 5 mins before u wash out the dye then brush it all over then wash it out dont put the dye on all of ur hair just the roots till 5 mins

How to get my hair to stop breaking?

shampooooos!!!!!!

try panteen pro-v hair striengthner or tresseme anti-breaking shampoo and conditioner!

How to get my hair to stop breaking?

well first thing when washing your hair use cool or cold water. As cool as you can stand it. Hot water stretches your hair when you comb or brush it. ( like a rubber band)

Then use a lit or very little leave in conditioner. and something for control ( gel )

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

Look I know its damaging to your hair, but I kind of have to. After every shower my hair gets all puffy, wavy and curly. I hate it. Everyone even says my hair looks WAY better straight. So i straighten it. I dont want my hair like really damaged, so how do i keep it straight but healthy?!

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

Buy some heat protective spray. I don't know of specific brands, but they sell it at most salons and probably stores like Target too. If you spray your hair with it before you straighten it, there will be less heat-related damage.

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

wear a hat

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

you could get it permanatly stariaghtned at the salon. or you could keep straigtening it everydfay n get like a herbal essances damaged hair shampoo n conditioner. both ways would work. good luck. i hope that i helped.

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

hmm.. you could try adding more hair-vitamin ingredients to your diet! google it! lol...

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

i to straighten my hair everyday .... but my hair look so healthy straight !!!

just by descent hair prodcts ,,, the more you spend the better it is

my favourite is oasis or something like that

it brillient and gives it a model shine !!!! ... and keeps hair healthy

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

lol after i wash my hair and blowdry it it goes curly, wavy and frizzy and i straighten it a lot too. Before i dry my hair, i use a heat protector which stops my hair from getting damaged from the hair straightener. then i straighten it, and my hair feels really nice, and it doesnt look or feel damaged.

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

u can get hair formula sprays that prevent heat damage

they r great

tressemme and pantene pro v have some graet ones.

try looking in ur nearest beauty store like boots. theyll tell you the ones u need.

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

Hey Babe!

You could get it chemically straightened by the hair dressers or you could get some protection spray/cream or maybe try not to use the straightners as much %26amp; only use them where your hair is wavy, or you could turn down your straightners

Good luck xx

I straighten my hair almost everyday ?

Products you will need:

1. Permanent Straightener

2. Straightening Gel

3. Thermal Spray

4. Flat Iron

5. Blow Dryer (at least 1875 Watts)

6. A good shampoo and conditioner

1. If you have a Sally Beauty Supply nearby, purchase "Curl Remover", the brand is One n Only. It's a permanent straightener. It's not harsh and they will sell that particular one to anybody, you don't have to be licensed. I use it and it don't fry my hair. They have 3 different formulas, one is normal, one is for if you have color in it and one is for if you have highlights. Make sure you get the right one. It's about $8.00.

2. Also, in their generic line, pick up some "Straightening Gel: Compare to Paul Mitchell Straight Works". It's in a black and white tube. It's about $6.00 and lasts a long time.

3. Pick up some Thermal Spray, it's a must have if you're going to use a flat iron. You will need it to protect your ends.

I don't recommend getting Ion: Heat Protection from Sally Beauty, it's too greasy. They may have something else there. I use the Matrix Sleek Look and I think it's the best. You can get it at Wal-Mart's Smart Style the cheapest, it's about $12.00. They have an off brand version of it at Sally Beauty called Slickline Thermal Iron Smoother, about $7.00. I've never tried it but for a cheaper product, I would say it would be the best you can get.

4. The best flat iron to get is the Paul Mitchell one. It's black and green and will run you about $130.00. It goes to 400 degrees and won't fry your hair as long as you're using thermal spray. If you can't afford it, Sally Beauty has a ceramic one in their generic line that compares to CHI. It's about $50.00 and heats up to 410 degrees. If you have to go with a Wal-Mart one, get a ceramic one. I don't care for Conair products, so I would recommend a Revlon or a Remington.

6. With shampoo and conditioner, you get what you pay for. Stay away from anything that is not sold in a salon and be careful what you buy at Sally Beauty. The only thing I will use at Sally Beauty is Park Avenue SOFT by Naturelle, which is generic for Redken All Soft. I like Matrix Sleek Look and Redken All Soft the best. They can be purchased at a hair salon or the Smart Style at Wal Mart. Matrix is on sale frequently 2 liters for $24.

When you can find a sale like that, you really come out cheaper in the long run when you can get it that way than buying $3 - $5 products because you don't have to use near as much of it and you're getting a larger quantity at a better price.

What to do with these products:

Follow the instructions precisely on the permanent straightener. Repeat every 6 weeks.

Use your shampoo and conditioner, try not to wash your hair everyday. If you smoke like I do, you really have no choice. It's better not to.

When you do wash, put a nickel size amount of the straightening gel in your hair and dry it. Don't brush it while you dry it, only use your finger tips. Brushing it will break it.

After it's dry, it should only need the least bit of straightening with the iron. Spray in the thermal spray, ensuring that you get the roots good, that's the most important part and run the iron through it. You will have to keep adjusting the temp. at first to find what suits you the most.

I am losing hair fast to psoriatic dermatitis. Allergic to rx shampoos. Any advice, please? Thanks!?

I am looking for natural products that will help. Have seen 3 dermatologists and can not use the shampoos that they prescribe. Getting desparate because the condition is becoming obvious. A woman's hair is her glory and mine has always been healthy and thick...no longer.

I am losing hair fast to psoriatic dermatitis. Allergic to rx shampoos. Any advice, please? Thanks!?

Ask your dermatologist!

They usually have more than 1 product available.

I am losing hair fast to psoriatic dermatitis. Allergic to rx shampoos. Any advice, please? Thanks!?

Do NOT use shampoos with ammonia in them. Most do. I found a brand at Sam's Club called Member's Mark salon formula Shampoo, infused with wheat protein, minerals %26amp; sandalwood extract. It strengthens and nourishes hair add body and balances moisture. But what I like best is that, after reading the ingredients, I did not see AMMONIA at all, but stuff like oat amino acids and some very long chemical names. Not sure about that, but I do know it's been mild on my hair and I haven't lost any hair in the last 3 years I've been using it.

My hair is dry and falling out, because of a medical condition. What would you suggest?

I am a African American woman who has a condition called Hypothyroidism, and it's causing my hair to become dry, brittle, and it's starting to fall out. I have thought about wearing a wig, a wig piece, and maybe even a weave, but I don't want to cause further damage. Is a full wig the only way to go?

I used to have beautiful, long, healthy black hair, and now I have just the opposite. What can I do?

My hair is dry and falling out, because of a medical condition. What would you suggest?

Use the Nioxin haircare range you can buy it online just google nioxin. It is a range that specializes with your kinda problem. It concentrates on the scalp encouraging hair growth, it will take around 6 weeks for you to notice a difference. They do a starter pack which contains everything you need for 鎷?4. In the meantime if you feel you would be more comfortable wearing a wig, there are some great ones out there. Good luck babe!

Good Luck!

My hair is dry and falling out, because of a medical condition. What would you suggest?

having a medical problem, follow the doctor's treatment, hypothiroidism isn't something grave, but tell hi that you have a hair felling problem because of the medication so that he can try to change it, and then visit a dermatologist, you cannot use cosmetic products when you are having a medical problem because it's nule, the cosmetic products act as a chemical help to the outside the organism, like a good conditioner it is conditioning the keratine from the hair, it isn't make it stop falling when the problem is inside the body

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any idea

female

hair length: armpits

hair color: blonde

I want it to take no more than 15 minutes in the morning!

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

just use Magical Grow it's sold in sally's beauty supply for about five dollars. only use a little bit, or else it will stay with you for days.

buy a curling shampoo and a therapy conditioner like dove. try cutting your hair in layers, and tin it a little bit. that way, you won't loose your curls. blow dry your hair with a diffuser, and put a little bit of Paul Mitchell's sculpting foam to not make it look so frizzy.

and if you don't want to do any of that, just use some mousse, and citre shine, combined with curling shampoo.

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

pony tail

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

Go for a short cut. There are a lot of lovely styles for short curly hair.

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

short and find the right shampoo and conditioner and don't over wash.

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

i dont shampoo everyday but i condition everyday before bedtime

before i go to bed i put in some mousse (and maybe anti freeze serum liquid) - loreals curl stuff- and scrunch my hair with my hands....then sometimes i blow dry the top so it wont look all crazy in the morning...and if it does, i put it in a loose pony for about ten minutes (while i wash my face, get dress etc) and then take it out and im good to go. Sometimes i part it on the side with some bobby pins or a nice clip.

loreal's mousse keeps my hair soft so thats why i like it...you dont need to use it if you dont want to, you could just take a shower and scrunch your hair, then go to bed (the pony thing really helps tame it in the morning...and so does blow drying the top, maybe try putting it in a half pony and then blow drying the top of the half pony) it really depends on how curly your hair is tho...

if you like showers in the morning then just do the same thing- just blow dry it a little so it wont be sopping wet before you leave

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

Do the Curly Girl routine (it's a book I read that totally, um, turned my head around about curly haircare.)

Wash your hair with ONLY conditioner. If your roots need shampoo, then coat the bottom half of your hair with conditioner while you wash to protect it from the shampoo. If you used shampoo, then rinse and repeat.

If you don't use shampoo, here's the deal: work conditioner through your hair, massaging your scalp and working out the loose hairs. Rinse only enough to distribute the conditioner through your hair--a lot will be left in your hair, and it should feel smooth and sleek, not "squeaky." Squeaky BAD. Towel dry, scrunching your hair from ends up to the roots.

Apply a small (like, coin-sized) blob of clear, light gel to your palms, rub them together, and scrunch them through your hair. Ta-da! Get the book, because there are more details than I can outline for you, but you basically treat your hair gently, like delicate fabric, and it will respond beautifully. It works for me! And my hair smells *fantastic*, by the way--people love the smell of my hair. I use Aussie Dual Personality conditioner and an unscented shampoo on my roots. And give it a few washes to work--your hair has to be trained properly to respond well.

You can mix some lemon juice with your conditioner every now and then to remove the conditioner and gel residue and leave your hair shiny and bouncy. Plus, it'll help the blonde color.

Curly Long Hair

Put it up into a tousled casual updo using hair accessories. In general, curly hair, once controlled, can be gorgeous long

Tips:

1. Avoid the frizz by using the correct products, like texturing balms and serums.

2. Avoid brushing curly hair, which distributes air through it and creates more frizz.

3. Beware of layers with curly hair. Layers tempt the hair to upward more quickly, creating volume (and frizz) where you don't want it.

Here is a good link...

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

i have curly hair and i love redken.really makes it less frizzy.its 8.95$ for shampoo and 11.95$ for conditioner.

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

With curly hair it is easy for it to become damaged, since most people use products to control/ defrizz/ etc. these curls.

I have curly hair myself - so I share in your pain... but what has really helped me is to

1. Do not wash your hair every day!

2. At least once a week wash your hair with a shampoo which is made to detox it/ or get out all other products. (ask stylist to recommend any there are so many)

3. Get a conditioning treatment every 2-3 weeks. This will really help keep those curls healthy well hydrated so they won't frizz out on you. They only cost like 10-50 cents at Sally Beauty Supply Store. You can do this at home on your own.

4. Hopefully you know not to brush curls...

5. Product recommendation - SoftCursl by Activate

Best of luck Curly Girl!

You've got to try Pureology Hydrate. I had very, very , dry curly hair. This stuff is a miracle!! I've tried EVERYTHING and this stuff really works. It's fairly expensive, but it lasts for quite a while, about 6 months. You only use about the size of a nickle. Look for it on ebay, it's much cheaper. Don't pay more than $40 or so for the shampoo and conditioner.

I have curly hair and i really want it to look healthy. And i want it to be low mantinence. Any ideas?

Get it thinned and then gel it in the morning. The thinning will give you less fullness but still alot of curl this way you have less hair to work with.

I have very curly, unruly, blonde hair, too. I keep it trimmed to just below my shoulders, in razor cut layers to give it some control. I have to wash and condition it everyday, or I can't get a comb through it....I use a pick, actually-never a brush! Then when it's wet I put a curling serum in it, either one for curls, or an anti-frizz serum, and let it air dry. It only takes me a few minutes. For work, I usually have a headband in, just to keep it out of my face for microscope work. When working in the barn, or with my horses, I'll put it in a ponytail. I hated my hair growing up, but now I love it and wouldn't change it for anything!

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

I recently got a haircut that's very layered, shorter and flipped out in the back, and with sidebangs. The stylist even ran some spiking glue/wax through it to make it look really cool and spiky. I loved it to death.

...That is, until I tried to style it that way after I took a shower.

The problem is my natural hair is extremely thick %26amp; wavy, and my straightener is crap. It doesn't have side protector plates so I can't get close to my scalp and it leaves my hair looking fried, dull and gross. What brand of straightener (under $100) would work best to style my kind of hair and leave it looking sleek and healthy?

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

For short hair you probably wouldn't want a 2" straightener. So try to go for a 1" any professional straightener goes for $100 or more. I have a remington Wet 2 Straight and I LOve it. Another brand i like is Revlon and Bed Head just started making straighteners they come in fun colors. Experiment until you find something you like

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

maxiglide will answer all your questions!!!!!! i watched a comcercial and i heard its amazing and its only 99.95 so its close to your buget its expensive but look how much stuff it has in ithttp://www.maxiusbeauty.com/category.php...

hope i helped im saving up for one as we speak i cant wait to get it!!

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

I got the chi and it works really good , it doesn't fry your hair when u use it and i use a Paul Mitchell balm to apply before i use the flat iron, you can find flat iron and any beauty brads ,

and the Paul Mitchell as well.. the flat iron is like 150.00 and the Paul Mitchell is about 15.00, if the Money is kinda high, take a round brush and a blow dryer and get some kind of straightening balm, and apply it then blow dry.. it doesn't work as good as the chi , but it comes out pretty good ..

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

i have the thickest and waviest and curlist hair and i use bored straight,it is made by beyond zone a little pricey but worth the 16 dollars a bottle, you won't ever need a srtaightner iron again, all you do wash your hair put the bored srtaight in you hair blow dry your hair using a round brush and your hair will be srtaight and it feels so soft and shiny in your hair not like gel that weighs your hair down and it last all day ,good luck

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

get the bed head 1' straightner..its what i have and its really easy to work with. they have it at target %26amp; bed bath and beyond. :)

What brand of straightener would work best for short, choppy hair?

a conair shoul;d do the trick i have one and it's pretty cool

i ahve short and choppy kinnda hair too

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

i was just wondering, because my hair is growing a lot better and faster now that i've stopped blowdrying and straightening it every single second since i'm trying to let it grow long again, but does a healthy diet with tons of fruit and water really make your hair grow faster and stronger?? sometimes I hear it's true-and other times I hear it's false. If it's true can you tell me why and what I should eat and drink to accomplish my goal. thank you. %26lt;3 :-)))

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

Its true! Also, be sure to eat a lot of protiens, because your hair is basically dead proteins so it really helps it grow faster!

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

Malarkey. Hair growth is controlled by genes, which you have no control over.

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

i think it is true, like eating good fruits and stuff makes your skin better and i think eating fish makes your hair shinier, so drink tons of water and try to include a little bit of everything but in small portions to stick to the diet :)

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

Normal hair growth in a healthy person is one-quarter to one-half inch per month. Your hair probably is not growing faster, just healthier.

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

To some extent it is true, and here's why. Your hair and nails are cells just like any other part of our body, and we know what a good diet verses a poor one can do for the rest of our body. I don't think you will see much of a difference in the actual growth, but your hair will more than likely be more healthy, which will mean less getting trimmed off. Kinda like our skin. I noticed, once I started drinking water, that my skin looked healthier, and my nails are less brittle.

There are some really good products out there to protect your hair, too. I have really long hair, and I only get it cut about twice a year. I curl it, blow dry it, straighten it, and whatever else you can think of that's bad for it. I have always had difficult and unhealthy hair until I found my miracle product. It's called citre shine. It's an anti-frizz shine serum that you can use when you're hair is wet or dry, but I recommend wet. (Sometimes I add a little to dry hair to give a little texture) Don't use very much......anyway, when I go in for my semi-annual trim, I usually don't have to lose more than a half inch.

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

yes it is true

Does a good a diet really help your hair grow faster?

Yes. Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

there are shampoos that give fullness to your hair or help the damage in your hair...or it depends on the way you eat too, eat healthy, drink alot of water and natural fruit juices..they could help..or i guess you could take some vitamins

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

Something with body e.g. a shaggy perm. Not long and straight.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

Have you investigated whether the reason for this is connected to your diet ?

That is most commonly the answer !

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

back comb underneath a little!

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

get it cut short so it looks thicker and ask them to stack it in the back so it looks thick without having much of a hassle when your in a hurry.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

you should have it layered loads, or you could even have some extensions put in. my friend has awfully thin hair, you can see her scalp through it. and she had loads of extensions and it looks great, but they are expensive - the cheaper thing to do is have lots of layering and feathering.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

FIrst thing, examine your diet. Are you getting enough calcium? Enough water? Zinc? Oils? Make sure your body is healthy, then work on the hair...as it IS an extension of your body.

Second. Shampoo every other day, and always use conditioner.

Third. Get a cut that adds volume. Layers, layers, layers.

Fourth. Style it for volume. (And try to avoid using a lot of product, or a lot of heat treatments which would further damage the hair.) Air dry, add some mousse, underbrush it, and go.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

TRY EXTENTIONS; TRUST ME ,IT WON'T HURT TO TRY. ALOT OF FEMALES ARE DOING IT. YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED.THEY ARE JUST AFRAID TO ADMIT IT. IN THE MEANTIME, THERE IS THIS PRODUCT CALLED NIOXIN. IT WILL HELP YOU GROW THICKER HEALTHIER HAIR IN NO TIME. IT'S NOT THAT EXPENSIVE AT ALL. THERE'S THE HAIR AND SCALP CLEANSER ALONG WITH THE SCALP TREATMENT(CONDITIONER), AND IT ALSO HAS A FOLICLE BOOSTER THAT WILL STIMULATE YOUR FOLICLES TO GROW HAIR. IT'S REALLY GOOD.

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

hi all . i straighten my hair everyday and night. i use protection spray all the time .i wash my hair every other day. i am getting lots of split ends,my hair smells rank of- singed. i hate it ! i have only just had my haircut i had 3 inches off ! it was healthy then i started using Tressemme straightners . these straightners make my hair really straight ! i have to straighten as my hair is frizzy and wavy ! i need someone advice.

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

Are you waiting for the products to dry before you use the straighteners?

Only use them a few times a week - twice a day is way to often and if you have to use them so much you must be doing something wrong or they are broken.

If your hair is slightly damp this will cause the split ends

x

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

you straighten your hair twice a day? stop it right now! that is so bad for it. if you only wash your hair every second day then wouldn't straightening after every shower be enough?

you shouldn't be ashamed of your hair. split ends and dry hair look worse than frizzyness

:]

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

Maybe you have the temperature on your straighteners to high or maybe your holding them on the same bit of hair to long. I think 10 seconds is long enough, but guess it depends on the hair type. Also only straighten your hair when it's dry.

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

Ok.

1. Stop straigtning your hair so much. Even though your using protective spary, you're still burining your hair. Only do so after you wash your hair and put your hair in a wrap (beehive style) before going to bed. It allows your hair to breathe.

2. You're getting alot of split ends because you're putting to much heat in it. When I used to do that my hair had the same problems.

3. You say your hair is frizzy. Well after washing it use Garnier Frutise's Anti-Frizz serum.

Hope that helps.

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

u suck cock biaaaaaaaaaatch

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

Hi Im having the same problem at the moment and Im having to keep going to get it cut more often now. You need to change to GHDS. Ive found any other than these leave you hair smelling singed and ghds dont do this. Also you need to be using a heat protection spray before you straighten, Infratreat is good you have to get it from a sallys store. You need one that is for spraying on before you straighten also. Your straighteners might be getting your hair straight but there not doing your hair anygood.

Before you change your hair straighteners try this. every other day use a hair mask and leave it on for as long as you can. If you can afford them use one each time use wash your hair in place of your conditioner but they are expensive to keep using them as placement of your old conditoners. The tremsemme on is good and you get lots off it too, its for dry weak brittle hair. the shampoo and condtioner in this type from tresemme is good to.

Try pantene smooth and sleek shampoo to try and tame your hair before your straightene it. I admit it wont creat miracles but it does work after a number of washes.

If you keep doing this you will notice the difference my hair dresser said its better already

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

I would stop washing it every day.I wash mine once a week.

Smell singed hair ! help? peopleor hairdresser you know!?

Hi. I have had the same problems as you.

You are doing way to much to your hair, all that washing, drying, straightening is taking its toll on your hair.

First of all, you dont need to wash your hair every single day. Are you using the wrong shampoo? Its no wonder your hair is a dry as a bone. You need to stop it right now.

I would advice you to leave your hair alone for a few days. Tie your hair back into a ponytail and put loads of leave in conditoner at the ends and scrunch it up. Let the goodness get into your hair.

You need to et a really good deep intensive conditoner or a hair restructuring conditon. Look for something that restructures the hair shaft. You need to rebuild the hair shaft.

Try using some cocunut intensive conditionr. This is good for dry hair. I also use Tigi camera flash shiner and defrizzer sparay. You put it on before straightening and its keep hair flat and frizz free.

My fine hair hasn't felt clean or looked good for a couple months, please help!!?

I recently graduated college in August, I lived on campus on Long Island and never had any problems with my very fine, fairly long (about the end of my shoulder blades) hair. Would shampoo and condition and either blow dry or air dry my hair felt soft, clean and looked fine. I moved back to my parents house in western new york for about a month, and my hair looked horrible. Always looked greasy, never felt clean, almost like it wouldn't ever completely dry, couldn't wear my hair down anymore bc it looked awful. Switched shampoos, no conditioner, conditioner on ends, hot water, cold water, vinegar rinse, nothing worked.

Moved back to Long Island just about 45 minutes away from my college campus and while my hair is a TINY bit better it still has the same problems, I don't know what to do. I'm a very healthy person and I never had this problem on campus so I doubt it's my diet. but I don't know if its hard water, soft, mineral water, i just want my hair back to normal please help!!

My fine hair hasn't felt clean or looked good for a couple months, please help!!?

Perhaps the water in NY is hard? We have the same problem in London. Whenever I go abroad I always notice the difference, my hair is softer, shinier, less frizzy and curls more. In London its permanently dry, frizzy and hangs like a dead weight! If its hard water, not sure what you can do with it really, sorry

My fine hair hasn't felt clean or looked good for a couple months, please help!!?

Pick up a clarifying shampoo and use it once a week (I use Bumble %26amp; Bumble Tonic shampoo). Switch to something like Sebastian Body Double or Big Sexy Hair shampoo and conditioner. Blow dry when you plan on wearing your hair down, let it air dry when you want to wear it up.

Hormones and stress have a lot to do with how your hair looks because of variations in oil production and growth rates.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat prot

I have recently started using heat protection since I started noticing that my hair is becoming very thin, breaks easily, frizzy and have execcisive flyaways... anything that will help restore my hair back to it's pretty, shiny, soft and healthy state? oh and I have Asian naturally curly hair....

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

ok i would not say comb it or brush it that can cause more damage. Start off by swithching out your shampoo, maybe switch to something mild for a week or so, like baby shampoo, this will clean it but lock in moisture . every other day for about 2 weeks pour about 3 table spoons full of extra virgin olive oile into a small bowl, add a spoonful of mayaonaise( i know it sounds gross but it does the trick) massage into hair and let sit about 5 to ten minutes wrap hair in towel, then wash with the baby shampoo. if you can forgo the straightning, then i would say wear it naturaul for about a month trim the ends that split. your hair should be back to normal within a month

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

Wash, comb, take care

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

this is what i do because i dye my hair and use heat on it all the time. once a week i mix half olive oil and half honey. enough to saturate your hair. warm it up in the microwave and put it on like shampoo. wrap your head up in a towel and leave it on for like an hour before you go to bed. shampoo it out and your hair will be shiny and soft.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

you should get some leave in conditioner. massage your scalp everyday to stimulate growth. maybe like 3 minutes a day. and if you can't stop putting heat on your hair. try to reduce it as much as possible.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

stop straightening and use some high quality shampoo and conditioner, also a leave in conditioner as well. Let your hair dry natural and maybe think about using a product that will enhance your curl and go curly for a while.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

I would stop straightening it for a while and keep trimming it.

deep conditioner too.

Your hair is like a rope and you have to keep it from unraveling, but once you have unraveled it there is no turning back (you can put stuff on it in the mean time) but you will have to cut it off.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

Nioxin thats the only cure i know for damaged hair

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

pantene has a fairly new line called restoratives. i also have damaged hair and i have used these. you should also keep dying and any chemicals to a minimum.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

HELLO!

Have all of your hair cut off and shaved to your scalp. Then start all over again letting the hair grown. But this time take care of your hair.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

Start using deep conditioners and cut as much off as you can stand. Make sure you always protect your hair and let it grow out.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

A complete head shave should do the trick.

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

theres no going back! i have the same problem go to a slan and ask professional advice, i think they have treaments for it but nothin will get rid on dry hair unless u shave it of n let it grow agen lol may be expensive but anything is better than dry hair

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

PANTENE PANTENE PATENE AND MORE PANTENE

How do I treat my badly damaged hair due to years of hair straightning and curling without heat protection?

ok first of all whatever you do DONT USE PANTENE. the only reason that stuff makes your hair look shiny and silky is because its like pure wax on your head. it is really bad for your hair. ok now that that is taken care of the best thing you can do is go get like 2 or 3 inches cut off your hair and then start using a high quality shampoo and conditioner. it might be a little expensive but you dont want to use anything really cheap or anything from a grocery store because products from a grocery store or a place that isnt a salon are usually left over products and arent going to be good for your hair at all. as far as straightening blowdrying and curling it start using a heat protecting product for your hair before you apply any heat to it. also to cut down on heat maybe dont blowdry it let it airdry. and buying a GREAT flat iron like a chi is actually better for your hair because they have a greater heat output, that might sound worse for your hair but its not. if you have a flat iron that isnt that hot you have to use it on the same strand of hair mulitple times to get the same effect that a hotter product could do in one time. hope this helped!

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!

My hair has a lot of split ends and breaks alot. so much to the point its not growing anymore. I have bleached and put some pink in it and it was like this before i dyed it. My friends hair stylist told her to wash it no more then every other day. now how ofton should i wash my hair and what can i do to make it healthy again?? I used tresseme shampoo and conditionar for stronger hair so it wont break and i use aussie deeep 3 minute maricle i mix the conditionars and i also use its a 10 leave in conditionar. is there any other shampoo and conditionar i should use that works?? i no my hair is growing because my roots are showing but it doesnt seem to be getting longer.. I NEED HELP!!!! any info will be appriciated and thanks!!!!

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

you need to get the split ends cut off, stop dying your hair for awhile and if it is really dry then you need to wash it everyday and put a leave in condition in it for about 2 months and that should hopefully help

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

your hair will keep growing. it cant tell if the end of it is split.

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

YOU HAVE TO CUT OFF THE PARTS THAT ARE BREAKING!

That's why it seems like it's not growing, because as soon as new hair growth appears at the root, more is breaking off at the end. If you get a trim, you'll get rid of the dead, breaking ends and you'll have strong healthy hair at the end again, so it won't keep breaking off. THEN you'll really notice its growth.

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

get panteen restoratives. it comes in a plastic container that looks like a jar and sold by the other conditioners. saturate the ends of your hair with this and put a shower cap on and leave this on for an hour and rinse. do this every other day and only wash your hair every other day. Do this until your hair starts getting stronger at the ends. Trim you hair once a month. I do this all the time since I blow dry my hair and flat iron it.

good luck hun

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

Wash it every other day is a good tip. Use a well known conditioner, maybe switch to something stronger? Try taking fish oil tablets that will make your hair stronger and longer. Also, maybe get a haircut to get rid of those split ends?

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

I would take prenatal vitamins-they help get your hair i a stronger position. I sell human hair extensions, affordable and clip-in. They will help create a healthier longer look. They are great premium quality, made from real human hair, remy, and since it is not synthetic, you can curl, cut, color, or style it as you please. It comes in every length and last forever. http://www.drugstore.com/templates/brand...

i hope i could help and i cant belive no 1 help u the first time!!!.

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

Get it trimmed. Also, to get hair healthy again try going to a beauty supply store and look for leave in conditioners. I use them after I dye and relax my hair and they get it back to normal.

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

first, i know it sucks, but you need to go to a hair stylist and get her to cut off all the dead and split hair. this will make a world of difference!! just get layers, so it's more disguised and doesnt appear as short.

next, stop dying your hair for a while!! or at least stop bleaching it. it's terribly unhealthy for it. that's probably why you have so many split ends.. it fries them!

do you use lots of heat styling? curling your hair, straightening it, and using a blowdryer, etc probably isn't helping the situation any.. so stop doing those things for a while.. like a month for sure. just let it air dry, etc.

it's good that you're using deep conditioners, but have you tried a heating oil treatment?? it's very good for it, and would help you out a lot. so try Got2Be heated oil treatment.. it's pretty cheap, and works wonders! I use 'its a 10' and it works alright.. so keep using it as like an after shower leave in kinda deal. oh also, if you absolutely must use a heating styler, make sure to use a heat protectant spray. i love Matrix Sleek Spray.

anyways, i know it sucks, but the best thing to start with would be getting it cut. that's the only way to get rid of split ends, and preventing even more breakage.

and i would highly advise dying your hair back to your natural color, or some brown, so you dont have to keep bleaching it.

good luck : ) and be patient, it's not gonna happen over night!

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

You need to start over, and how do you start over? Get a hair cut! You need to get rid of all that color because it has the potential of continuing to split your ends. Afterwards, make sure that you are getting your ends clipped and make sure to keep conditioning your hair. There's not much you can do about the hair that is already damaged--don't believe all those shampoos--it's just advertising, but you can take care of the new hair that is growing in.

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

My Mom always used Mayo in her hair, she would rub it in and leave it for 20 minuets and wash it out with a mild soap, she never had a problem other than having to go to the hair shop more often to cut it, her hair always was long and soft, I think she did what she knew worked best for her, I cant stand the smell of Mayo if you ask me. Good Luck and God Bless

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

I would suggest using a protein treatment, You can find them at sally's. As far as the split ends. I would say keep up with your trims. Every 4 to 6 weeks, even if you only get 1/2 inch off the ends it will really make a difference. The reason you seeing growth at the roots and not at the ends, is probably becacuse it is just spliting off or breaking off. :Sometimes you can add too much conditioner and that will make your hair to soft and will break off when pulled. The protein will help to make each strand alot stronger. You still should use conditioner but try to only use a deep conditioner once a week. To use the Protein treatment . Wash your hair as normal and then put the protein treatment on leave it on your hair for 15 min. (with a plastic cap over it) , Rinse with warm water (not too hot), put a light conditioner on and rinse with cool water. Style like normal. Don't do more than one treatment a week. Good Luck!

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

First of all, get a trim....Regularly, hair grows about 1/2 inch every month, every 3-5 months you should commit yourself to a trim to help your hair grow healthy, split ends will cause breakage and eventually leave ur hair a mess, the bleach is a bad idea too, stressing your hair like that is nvr good. if you want it lightened s a non bleach lightener. DITCH the tresseme and aussie. USE proffesional products, TIGI moisture maniac or Catwalk Oatmeal %26amp;Honey shampoo and nexxus kerraphix conditioner or Paul mitchell super charged conditioner, only one conditioner is all you need, not a mix of several products that causes excess buildup and will leave your hair more cluttered and stressed than before and will clog your cuticle with product slowing your growth and health of your hair. also reduce any styling product your using to half

if you are using heated styling products try CLH steel 22 [or iron, i forget which it is] protectant spray. dont use any shampoo and conditioner in one products because those are the most rediculous products ever, ask any stylist they will tell you there is no way they an wok properly because they cancel each other out when theyare mixed. Do you shower and mix your shampoo with conditioner before applying it, then why get it stuffed in a bottle together, your paying for 1/2 the product that your using really an its not working, dont go with those ideas.

I asked this question once no one answered i really need hlp with hair please read!!!! i need help!!!?

ok calm down.first of all i hv not heard of the products u r using.jergens makes good hair products.find something with aloe vera and a product with placenta.i dunno if y'all hv placenta for hair in ur area but it stops hair breaking.ask abt it.

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

Brushing your hair with a natural bristle brush will help distribute oils from your scalp throughout the hair and make it shiny and healthy-looking.

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

i heard it could be damaging brushing hair while it's wet.

it no fact, but i dont do it... i would comb it

it could depend on the texture too

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

brushing........ one time i combed my hair and i lost a big chunk

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

It is better to brush your hair when it is dry. When it's wet it is has more elasticity and is more open to damage. Also brush from the bottom of the hair strand up towards your scalp to prevent split ends and tearing up the hair cuticle. Also, large tooth combs are better than brushes. The brush (unless you get the plastic kinds with balls on the end of the bristle) roughs up the hair. The combs do significantly less damage.

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

Comb your hair with a big tooth comb when it's wet because if you brush it wet it can cause split ends.

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

you should comb your hair when its wet NOT brush it. your hair is at its weakest point when is damp. wait until its dry to brush it.

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

yes it is help to your hair

Is it healthier to brush or comb your hair when it's dry?

My hair is very think and short?

I am a colored young lady with short thin hair how can i get it long and healthy im not a fan of clipping my ends either.

My hair is very think and short?

make sure you deep condition it at least twice a week.

Sorry to say girl but to have healthy growing hair you have to trim at lease once every 3 months.

a good deep conditioner is biolage deep conditioner or you can just use your at home shower conditioner and leave that on your hair for at least 5 min.

Make sure what you eat is good too. Wierd as it sounds it affects the way your hair grows.

Vegetable and fiber and protien are good for hair growing.

You can also look into hair vitamin supplements and pills.

(:

Hope this helps!

My hair is very think and short?

Time and eat a healthy diet

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

Ok, I do not think that my hair is unhealthy. I'm pretty sure it's healthy now but then again, who am I to know..lol. My hair is really short. People always tell me it is similar to ***** type hair. It is not curly but it is wavy. I've always wanted a straight look. I started brushing it back no wand the waves are gone. It is now a bit straighter, but my hair is really thick. I am definately not getting any perm. What can I do however to get it thiner. It is not soo much straight hair that I want, but more relaxed. Now, my hair feels EXACTLY like a sponge. How Can I get rid of this. I wash my hair everyday with garnier deep conditioner, and garnier leave in conditioner after. My scalp also itches me alot and I do have some dandruff also. How can I correct all of this?

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

Sounds like you're washing it too much. If you have ***** hair as they say....then your hair doesn't require as much washing because blacks/african american(they dont say ***** anymore fyi) hair is naturally drier but more wavy/curly where as white/caucasians have oily hair which is usually straight and it requires washing everyday or every other day. Your hair is spongelike because its probably as dry as a broom. You need to figure out what works for your hair texture not your skin complexion. I say try Pantene Pro V, maybe every 3 or 4 days. Their products work great on dry hair and it leaves it silky smooth. And you're itchy scalp is probably do to a build up from the leave in conditioners... Just do a wash and condition and be done with it. Or you could use some hair pomade to keep it down but nothin too greasy open n and rub a lil in ur hands if your hand gets oil keep lookin..if its too sticky keep lookin.

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

***** type hair, hahahahahahahaha

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

dioblack who ever ur rude ok it dosent atter wt kind of hair u have cuz dio black who nos wat kind of hair u have

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

hmm this sounds confusing. Well im a girl and i have like shoulder length hair and ive always had real frizzy wavy nasty hair BUT i did use perm and no not like curling perm. You use regular perm and dont use the curlers, you use like a comb and straighten your hair out like you just got out of the shower. It will be real wet and just follow the directions. Now my hair is straight and i love it, also sometimes i use a flat iron and gets my hair really silky and thinner. (i dont know how long your hair is.)

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

You should try a texturizer, like S Curl, or a mild relaxer. I have thick, curly hair...while it's not necessarily kinky, a relaxer does just what it's supposed to...relax the natural curl in your hair. You might also want to try Creme of Nature shampoo coupled with Infusium leave-in conditioner.

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

i'll try to help a little bit.

since you said you have dandruff. try to use an anti dandruff first. do you have nizoral on your place, if so then it is the best since it does the job it says, which is to get the dandruff out.

Then for making your hair un-thick. i guess you should go to your nearest salon in your place to ask for their advice. or try hair relax or hair straightening. if you want instant softness. do try rebonding. though it costs a lot.

(Male) REALLY thick hair.?

You might want to give HIS MIX products a try. It's a simple system where you shampoo, then apply the leave-in to wet hair and air dry. No towel or heat needed. The product is made by Mixed Chicks (http://www.mixedchicks.net). The women/stylists there created it for thick, biracial hair. If you follow this routine, you won't have striaght hair, but it will tame what you have. Good luck.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

my hair is kinda growing, but slower than normal...

i take vitamins, i wash my hair twice a week, and 5 months ago i got a hair cut...

what can i do to make my hair grow faster, longer and healthier??

I want to grow my hair longer...?

I also am trying to grow my hair, and a couple of things I've heard that are supposed to make your hair grow faster, but I'm not sure how well they work.

1. Using jojoba oil in your hair is supposed to reduce frizziness, and damage making it healthier and some how grow faster.

2. I've heard that 'Hair Plus' shampoos and conditioners are supposed to work.

3. Also massaging your scalp often increases blood circulation to your head.

4. Braiding your hair to make it grow faster is so old fashioned and I have absolutely NO IDEA if it works.

5. Cutting the ends of your hair every 6 weeks or so

6. Also rubbing your hair with a traditional towel is supposed to be harmful, and someone has said that if you buy a silk head wrap and pillowcase thatn it should help.

Hope this helps.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

the shorter you cut it the faster it will grow

I want to grow my hair longer...?

it doesnt matter how much yooh wash ur hair but

yooh ahould was hit more than twice a week.

but idont think theres anything yooh can do to make it grow faster.try google er something?or ask ur hair stylist.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

my hair has always been very long and i never cut it and i wash it at least four tomes a week.It doesn't matter hoe short you cut you hair it won't grow any faster because you hair is dead so cutting it isn't going to hep

I want to grow my hair longer...?

I honestly don't think there is any way of making your hair grow faster.........not that I can think of. Some peoples hair just grow faster and others just take time.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

wash your hair every other day. its BAD for your hair to only wash it that much. it gets too many oils in it, and its harder to manage and weigh down.

get your hair trimmed every 3 weeks. NEVER wait for more than one month or two. your hair is unhealthy because of what your doing to it.

wash your hair every other day in lukewarm water. use a quarter size amount. massage into hair with finger tips for 2 minutes. rinse, and then use about 2 quarter sized amounts of conditioner. i shave and wash my body, then rinse the conditioner in cold water. then get out. then put in a frizz serum and dry.

this is exactly what you should do to make your hair healthy, soft, shiny, and longer.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

well just keep on doing what your doing and trim your hair every now and then, it should grow faster.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

the vitamins are a good start... and they will take time to take effect... another thing is be out in the sun... the sun is a natural source of health for your hair... i have also heard vitamin e is particularly good for your hair... another ancient remedy that i havent used before but have heard of is olive oil in your hair... along the roots and massage...

let me know if that one works :) good luck

I want to grow my hair longer...?

First of all, LET GO OF THE PILLS!!!!!!!!! I may be a total nitwit at style but i do know this, those hair vitamins are just going to hurt your body very slowly. it doesn't directly go to your hair on your head either. believe me, this may be irrelevant, but my cousin started taking pills to grow her nails longer. i don't want you or anybody to get scared, but she took them normally and one day she said she felt ill. we went to the doctor and we had to sign out a form for her. it asked if she was taking any medications and we put down the pills she was taking. we gave the papers to the lady at the counter and she looked at the paper. she said shes problably ill from the pills. and im telling YOU now, i dont want anybody to get hurt. so please stop the pills and yourr hair growth might go back to normal in a few days.( some of the dead protein the pills try to take out of your head arent really dead.)

I want to grow my hair longer...?

Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

Hair help, please?

i need hair help really badly. I can't stand my hair any longer. I want to cut it really short and keep it natural so I don't have to fry it with a flat iron/blowdryer/curling iron any more! my hair is always dry feeling and it always break off - i'm tired of trying to keep it nice and healthy looking and have it all fall out. my hair is super course and i've been relaxing it for a long time. I need a style that is short and natural, yet looks modern and nice, and allows me to keep my side bangs. if anybody could post a style that i can actucally consider, i'd be forever grateful.

Hair help, please?

I would go for something edgy if you want to go short. I would consider a razor cut-- low maintenance, because i think they look better when messy.

Grow hair longer...really?

1. i had hair about down to my breast (a lil above my nipple) and i was trying to grow it really long maybe to my belly button or something, and my hair dresser told me i have to get rid of all my layers so she cut about 2 inches off. i regret gettin it cut at all becuase it seems like it hasnt grown alot ever since. she also cut my bangs n they havent really grown either. my hairs always been slow to grow. and it seems like other girls can cut their long hair, then it will grow back within 2 months! what the hell!! i hate having short hair, and ive never had really really long hair. it seems to be in these days %26amp; i think it would look real sexy.

2. people say biotin works well, and im gonna try it. does it really work? somebody else said it doesnt actually help your hair grow faster it just makes it healthier n stronger so it will help grow. is this true? and should i try it?

Grow hair longer...really?

Nothing will make your hair grow faster. Its all just genetically programmed. All you can do is look after your hair so it isn't as damaged and doesn't need as many trims.

If it's winter where you are, that will be why your hair is growing slowly. During the colder months, hair grows more slowly, and then speeds up as summer approaches. This is just a natural cycle.

Some people's hair has a natural point at which it stops growing. My Grandmother always wanted long hair but it never grew longer than her shoulders, no matter how long she waited.

Just keep waiting. It'll happen eventually. It took me a few years to grow my hair long, and I started with my hair at chin length. I've had it long for years and I had to cut it to mid upper arm length because it was too long at one stage and got stuck in car doors and things.

Just wait it out. It'll happen eventually. It's only a matter of time.

Grow hair longer...really?

if u brush ur hair more often it helps it grow faster it works i have done it before

Grow hair longer...really?

i no what you mean i'm trying to grow my hair that long to its like half way down my back now almost and it seems like it wont grow and my friend that had realy long hair got it cut and now like 2 months later its almost the same length it gets me so mad.

Grow hair longer...really?

There is nothing scientificly proven to help hair grow faster...some people have ideas, but that's usually all they are. Some therories usually have to do with diet...like eating more protien. However, if you have your hair regularly trimed to keep the ends looking nice and neat it can help appear to hair to look longer.

Grow hair longer...really?

hair grows at an average rate of 1/2 inch a month (scientific fact). eat healthy, and treat your hair kindly and it will be healthy enough to get to the length you want w/o breaking.

Grow hair longer...really?

you should try nioxin hair pills

it helps your hair grow really fast.

i had hair at my shoulders and took one pill a day

kno my hair is almost at my belly button

and its only been like 1 1/2 months

good luck:D

What type of hairstyle suits my type of hair?

My hair is quite thick, not extremley thick but just quite. Its also a sort of semi curly. It isn't curly like small frizzes that keep on going on but its curly as in big curls.

When my hair is long, it looks strange and its healthy but I don't know how to style it. I dont go through a day of school without atleast 5 bad comments on it. When it is wet, my hair can look alright but it makes me head look really small and when I can only straighten it when it is wet which dries quickly. When i apply gel/wax it goes in waves.

I don't know how to style my hair and I was hoping that anyone has any pictures/comments on how to style it because it is bugging me alot.

What type of hairstyle suits my type of hair?

Hi!Well..it seems like you have a serious problem. 1) The most delightful advice i can give you is to talk to a hairdresser. There is a new way(method) to make your straightening hair easier. He or she will explain better. 2) This is a very good product. I use it too. For straight hair. http://www.beaute-test.com/hot_liss__-_s...

check it out. You can also buy professional products from a hairdressing room. I hope i helped you.

What type of hairstyle suits my type of hair?

I had same problem with my hair at your age, but I'm a girl, which doesn't really matter. Try using heavy, thick oil (you can find in any drugstore) it will weigh down your hair %26amp; tame your frizz so you can actually see some more curl or wave.. talk to a good hairdresser as well. They can cut your hair to make curls work better.... hang in there, it always gets easier(:

What type of hairstyle suits my type of hair?

Have you ever thought about going to a low fade?? This look is super cool and clean, and you will never have to worry about it again---just getting in at the barbershop!!

What type of hairstyle suits my type of hair?

I prefer men to have short hair. If it's too wavy and curly try keeping it at a length where it doesn't go crazy.

What hair style is best for growing hair that was cut?

I cut my hair and i'm going to start giving myself a hot oil treatment and condition my hair daily with Carol's Daughter, natural products to get it healthy again but because I cut it I dont know what hair style to wear. I don't like the short hair style so I was thinking about cornrows or put individual braids but i'm afarid it might pull my hair out or contiue to braid and sow it but that also causes hair breakage. I was going to glye instead of sowing it but if I want to grease my hair it will slip but I believe if I continue to give a hot oil treatment and condition it intensly it should be okay. Any suggestions or new ideas?

What hair style is best for growing hair that was cut?

You can use add-on clips for hair extensions. There are some brands that will not damage your own hair. You could also wear them on a daily bases. In the mean time try to relax and give your hair some essential treatment that would promote it to grow faster and healthier. Good luck and enjoy your new haircut :)

Is it true that if you have boxbraids for about 2 months your hair will grow longer if so how long?

before i put my boxbraids in my hair was mid length and it was healthy

Is it true that if you have boxbraids for about 2 months your hair will grow longer if so how long?

That's not necessarily true. I had mid length hair when I put my braids in, now I have no hair at all to speak of. Sorry I ever saw a braid. Oh, and it was very healthy hair before I put the braids in.

Deep hair conditioning?

Hi.. okay im 15 years old.. and theres a party this weekend. i live in a small town, so i don't have access to any stores or anything that would have a deep conditioning mask. i want to look good for the party, so i was wondering if anyone has a recipe or something to use on my hair to make it look healthier, shinier, or softer? thanks so much!

and if you have any face mask recipes, or something that would make my skin glow or anything like that, that would be soo appreciated!!

you can answer either question.. or both!! thanks : )

%26lt;3 xox

Deep hair conditioning?

The one thing you can get in any town is Olive Oil. Simply put it on your hair and let it sit. Either in a town or a clip. Then shampoo out! Sometimes I even sleep with it in my hair. If you do put a towel over your pillow or you will end up with a mess!

Deep hair conditioning?

For the hair :

http://www.ehow.com/how_2042836_deep-con...

It's based with rosemary and olive oil

Deep hair conditioning?

hi i think i can help with your hair question, if you use an ordinary conditioner on dry hair ( before you wash) work it from the root to the tip. wrap a towel round your head for 10 mins then dry your hair with a hair dryer. this is a deep conditioning treatment. you then rinse your hair. and wash and condition as normal. hope this helps

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

I had blonde hair, but as i grew older, it started turning brown, so about twice a year, I get blonde highlights touched up in my hair to make it look blonde again. I have become bored with the hightlights...I want to make it ALL blonde and am having a friend, (who dyes her hair blonde all the time and its really healthy), do it for me. Will it harm my hair? it is a light brown with blonde hightlights and pretty healthy. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to care for it, because I hear it becomes brittle and strawlike, and I guess I am just scared that my hair will fall out...I dont want to be bald. ;P

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

I have done it for years. I too, had blonde hair as a child. And it has turned the same color as yours through the years.

I use L'Oreal's Preference in 9 1/2 BB which is a cool beige blond. It's a very nice blond color, rather light but not at all platinum. Ash is also a cool color, but looks gray--I don't like it. Warm colors have too much red for me.

Anyway, I do nothing special to keep my hair healthy. I use White Rain shampoo and Pantene conditioner. I do not use a beautician because I swear what they do is more brutal (and stinky). My hair is silky and not at all like straw. Granted, I do NOT perm it or use much hairspray, and when I use a hair dryer I wait until it's nearly dry and THEN dry it the rest of the way.

I have done this for over 20 years. My hair is thick as ever.

I say go for it! Hair colors do not make you bald. Just stay away from the stripper and bleaches. That is only used for dark brunettes and it's brutal on hair, and SHOULD be done by a salon. Just follow the directions on the haircolor box. Easy as pie!

EDIT: Unlike what somebody said up there, blond is not hard to keep. It can't fade! Just keep the roots touched up. And if you have red or gold highlights you don't like, use a cool blond color and you will not get red hair. I seem to be the only one here who has done this myself! Heck with the salon.

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

dont let ur friend do it!!!!! get a real hairdresser to do it!!!! if u let ur friend do it it will definetly go bad!!!!

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Look on the bright side if it does fall out you could always become a buddist.

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

i used to have really blonde hair as a kid but mine also turned brownish as i got older..

get it done at the hairdresser first and then have her touch it up when you need it.

that way its done correctly and will probably be a better overall colour and then you can just get it touched up! :)

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Unless your friend is a professional don't let her do it. Go to a reputable salon, you need to be very careful when using over the counter hair dye blond will turn brown hair orange!

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

first of all unless youre friend majorly f*cks up your hair is not going to fall out.. yes dying it damages it.. also blonde is very hard to keep up especially when you have brown hair. your are going to have to dye it religiously every 4-6 weeks..

I also had blonde hair as a child that gradually got a little darker as I got older. ( then I had kids ) WOW!! talk about hormonal change overnight.. my hair went from dark blonde to medium brown.. needless to say I was a little shell shocked.. i believe the words what the f*ck happened to my hair?? came out of my mouth... I keep my hair medium brown with Caramel or honey colored highlights its very pretty and not much upkeep because when it starts to grow out it blends in.. so I dont have dark roots and light hair like you would if you had total blond hair.. also I use Redken All Soft shampoo and Conditioner.. to keep my hair soft.. I dye my hair about once every 4 months or so..saves money and also saves my hair.. did I mention if you have any Natural gold or red highlights (they dont have to show up to be there) in your hair blond will turn it orange ??? better to let a stylist do it..

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Well, you could go bald because your friend don't have the same head as you.

You should go to a hair salon or something, buy hair dye thingy and read the instruction. it will say wether this that will harm you.

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Well any lift of color will damage your hair. I have my hair died very light blond and it is very damaged, leave the bleaching up to the pros %26lt;---strongly recommended! Or stick with the highlights you have and maybe get some low lights, maybe auburn or caramel, and if you do decide to go with your friend dyeing your hair, I recommend that you get a product called aPhogee, it is a PH balancer and it is done in two steps. you can get it at sally's or they have a website www.aphogee.com and it worked wonders for my hair for a few weeks. I would suggest getting the bottles though. Good luck

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

I know how you feel. And trust me the first time you definately want to go to a hairdresser, then you can ask tehm what products and brands to use for your hair.

Hair questions?

I used to use my straightener everyday, but now I'm trying to grow my curly hair out. I want it to be very healthy and to put the moisture back in it, but I'm not sure what kind of treatment is best for my hair type. I'm also taking a multi-vitamin and flaxseed oil to produce better growth but I was wordering what else will help it grow and become healthy as well, tips anyone?

Hair questions?

you should try herbal essences: straight!!

it worked for my curly hair!!!

Hair questions?

horse shampoo

Hair questions?

Get you a leave in conditioner.

After each shampoo add to hair.

Hair questions?

does it really matter?

Hair questions?

try olive oil

Hair questions?

Prenatal vitamins, I believe you can get them over the counter.

They make your hair and nails grow fast.

Hair questions?

i went to my salon and my hair cut lady told me that my hair's p.h. level was zapped. i had no idea. so chance are if you go to a professional they can tell you what you need.

Hair questions?

get your hair wet,

warm up some olive oil and put it through your hair,

wrap your head in clingfilm,

then warp some warm towels around your head.

leave for 15mins then wash out with shampoo and conditioner.

this is like a moisturiser for your hair!

some celebrities use this method.

try not to wash your hair everyday either.

hope this helps.

Hair questions?

Going to a pro would be your best bet but if that is not able to happen at the moment I would use a super think conditioner after you wash in the shower then also get a leave-in conditioner. Loreal and Aussie both have good coditioners. These aren't the regular ones you would buy they are normally in a smaller container to use only like twice a week. As for leave-in you can get Infusium 23 or Aussie has a dual mousse leave-in that is great so it conditions and styles....I like it a lot, I recommend it all the time!

Good luck!

Hair questions?

I have naturally curly hair too, and recently got the best advice ever - don't scrimp on Shampoo and Conditioner. Buy the best you can, even if it's expensive. It can actually change the texture and shape of your curls!

I would also go into a salon and get a clarifying shampoo (to get out all the gunk) and a deep conditioning to repair the curls. After one visit, my curls were soo improved, I decided not to cut my hair.

And finally, if you use a ceramic flat iron to straighten your hair until your natural curls come back, you should be able to switch back and forth between curly and straight without any hair damage.
