My hair is naturally dirty blonde, i had it dark for several years and i needed a change. Damaging my hair is not a concern because after two bleachings it is still conciterably healthy. Doves overnight treatments work great to restore my hair. My concern is will my hair take lighter with bleach

you need to wait until the color grows out or use a stripper to strip it out or you are going to have whats called "double processed"
hair and it will literally fall out and yes it will go lighter and lighter until it looks WHITE. just touch up the roots.
